Very good performance. You can't say it's Brentford being sub par. Max has been really good so far. So credit where it's due. Hyam solid. Only hamer seems to be missing a beat. Walker and max running off the ball giving Brentford problems. But for a great reaction save we would be 2-0. Hold on tight second half brentford will come looking. We must maintain what we are doing and do not give corners and free kicks away. I'll take a draw all day but can we get over the line and 3 points?

Hamers getting bypassed a lot today, which is fine, I don't want us to be playing for possession against Brentford. He's been better than he was against Cardiff and Norwich though.

We need to keep doing what we are doing. If we sit back they will keep on attacking. With he high press they will make a mistake at some point at the back

How funny would it be if the ref hasn’t got a spare top with him and has to come out in our home kit second half like Chelsea that time?

Much, much better performance. McCallum having his best game in ages and Kelly showing how important he is yet again.

Still think we’ll need another goal to secure 3 points though.

Wow! Max so much better with a partner, Hyam best game in ages, Kelly the glue just makes the shape of the team look so much better. Great pressing all round, penalty however it went in will do walker the power of good. What a refreshing difference from midweek. Let's keep it going boys! PUSB

Saving a throw in at the expense of a corner....

I don't know what's up with him, but he needs a kick up the backside.

Second half got to get our game management right straight from kick off we can be a bit lapse just after the break, would tend to go a bit longer from the back and hit our front men early, I suspect Brentford will push up a bit so playing through midfield can invite trouble, still we are thumbs up 👍at the minute.

Great half lads.... I may have a new lucky top. God knows I’ve gone through shit loads of them. Continued my tradition of never watching a city penalty. I’ve not seen one as it happened since 1985..... normally I go on the crowd going mad... this time it was Clive letting me know.

I don't think he does because I don't think he targets anyone with them, he just whips them in to the box. It's just instinctive and flatters to deceive.
What about his quick free kick....Brilliant quick thinking was a 30 yard pin point pass that walker fluffed.

Really good first half. Defending like warriors. Kelly routinely changes he team every time he comes back from injury.

Just 1 corner and a Hamer booking from £150! Gutted he didn’t hack their guy down and instead let Hyam take the booking 😡

McCallum, Kelly, Biamou, O'Hare, all playing very well.

Hamer seems to be adopting a bit of a deeper role today too. Not getting forwards quite so much.

My only complaint against O'Hare, is that he seems to hit too many shots straight at the keeper. He has been excellent though.
Max is the same I cannot understand why the 'striking' coaches don't coach the to aim for the corners...I must admit when I used to play I always managed to hit the keeper with shots because I was going for power .after I finished playing I thought about it more but too effin late then

He didn’t hit that one cleanly it came off the outside of his boot. If he’s connected with his laces it’s have gone straight into the opposite corner.

Defence playing no nonsense. Hyam and fadz have cleared balls that on another day they'd try and start an attack with. No messing.
Quite a few subtle changes today - hyam has cleared three straight out rather than playing it about, Wilson kicked long rather than short passed, Sam trying a long throw in to box, Hamer playing quick short passes and a few decent long passes, rather than always looking long, more pressing up the pitch.
All combined to make us look better.
Today, everyone seems to be having a good game. Just need to keep going!
PUSB!

Thought that was Hamer honestly. And I didn' t mean it to be a bashing after such a good first half, I just don't think he has a clue what he is going to do next. Feel he has got a rash challenge or a pen in him at any moment.
