I missed most of the first half. Didn’t realize it was a 12:30 K.O. Thanks Mark for the reminder.

Thought I’d start a thread anyway and waiting to see if I missed anything.
Similar to last game I like the way he let the small niggly fouls go and kept the game flowing. It was the same for both teams and the players seemed to know how far they could push it.
O’Hare & Hyam yellows. Both good calls. It’s good to see our players taking good yellows instead of the silly ones.
Played a few advantages that were only borderline advantage to the fouled player. I’m ok with that.
Seemed to lean on Lino’s a lot. Again no problem with that.

No real hard decisions needed.
Overall rating 7.5 (0.5 deducted for waiting until half time to change his shirt)

I personally thought the penalty was rather soft.... Biamou was going away from goal, the defender was unlucky to get there a split-second late.

That said, it would have been a free-kick anywhere else on the pitch, so i suppose it was the correct decision.

But no doubt we benefited greatly from it.

As many have said above, i thought the referee was very fair.

That penalty was the same as Wilsons one - he caught the player after the ball had gone - good decision

Ref was a unit. Wouldn't argue with him either way. Actually got the penalty decision right so whatever else he did I can pass on.

The lino flagged for a free kick, luckily the ref was paying attention and noticed it was in the area and awarded the penalty.

Thought he was very good - and the linesman for the penalty...not sure all would have flagged so vigorously and might have left it so see if ref had spotted it (and make the decision)!

Don't think a red would have been fair. I agree it was a penalty but I don't think it was deliberate or reckless.

He and his assistants had a good game. They clamped down on players stealing yards on throw ins. The game seemed straightforward to officiate as both teams didn’t focus on the dark arts.
I think the half time break allowed Hamer to escape a yellow card for repetitive fouling. As he’d clocked a few in succession in the 1st half.
The penalty was right and no complaints about our yellow cards.
