Anyone used Muscle Food to order meat? Quality of meat in the supermarkets is terrible, are they any better, or any other suggestions.

Would love to head up to the farm shop or a decent butchers but even ignoring trying not go places for covid reasons can't really afford to pay three times the supermarket prices. Appreciate there's an element of you get what you pay for but also have to consider my bank balance!

Hmmm yeah I have had stuff before. Some of it is OK sometimes but then other times the chicken is a bit smelly.

I have always just done a big order and frozen it straight away but then again Im hardly a food expert, I just eat it.

Yeah it's pretty good and they do some good offers. Better than a supermarket but not as good as a butchers.

Put on a fair bit while I had Covid as couldn’t exercise and was just eating rubbish (‘I’m ill so I can eat what I want’). Especially annoying as my fitness was in a great place and I was seeing the benefits body wise - was close to getting my abs back!

Started being able to run again as of last week and building that up which will help. Hope to get back on the Peloton too soon. Then need to incorporate strength work somehow.

My issue is my before bed sweet tooth - got into a bad habit of having chocolate before I go to bed on pretty much a daily basis. I need something to satisfy the sweet craving after dinner - any suggestions are welcome!!

Most of its OK, I have been abusing the box offers that have been coming on its where I get all my meat from.

My son has used them, said ok, I try to go to the butchers weekly, would say it’s slightly more expensive but better quality definitely, very little water or fat from mince, sausages you have to chew on and chickens generally £5-7 depending on size, it can still be done reasonably frugally but steak, the fresh ham is more pricey than the supermarket alternatives.

Angel delight with some fruit, low calorie jellies? home made cookies made from ground almonds, coconut sugar etc, lower on the GI levels than pure chocolate

Fibre One do some nice 90 calorie cakes, popcorn bars etc. They are genuinely tasty.

Yeah I have those. Feels like a normal brownie/carrot cake.

I've "outswung" my two Kettlebells and neef a heavier one. Just doing more reps at the moment but it doesn't feel the same.

If I may make a suggestion as an alternative to getting heavier kettlebells which might become expensive over time; purchase some resistance bands instead. You could then do a number of workouts whilst still having a large degree of variation of resistance. For example, loop the resistance band around the handle of the kettlebell you currently own, stand on the resistance band and do some bicep curls? Or front weighted resistance band squats?

I have put two stone on in the last couple of months, so I am fasting for two days a week, cutting out all the shit (crisps, chocolate, biscuits etc.), walking at least three miles a day, and doing a daily 10 mile cycle ride.

Swapped out breakfast and lunch for Huel shakes and been training with resistance bands three times a week. It has been around five weeks. About 6 pounds dropped and seeing some definition now.

I have one. Cost around £90 imported from China as was from manufacture. As could not get it in UK otherwise. Pretty good. But be careful as lots of cheap white label ones sold at stupid costs.

Also dont bother with a Theragun over priced jigsaw

A little bit. Some might be psychological. But defeintly takes the knots out the muscle. You just have to learn what works for you. Can be a bit painful to start.

I use the pulseroll ‘gun’ and the ball as well. I teach group fitness and as such several times a year I will be at fitness events for the whole day. I use the ball at these events as it’s a really good size for my kitbag. I have tight hip flexors, so it helps to open those in between sessions.
The gun has really helped me with DOMS the day after such events.

Load of shite, get a foam roller. Fraction of the price and no pissing about
What about tns, not too expensive I think, but no Idea if practical for the purpose of the op?
Edit certainly worked on shoulder but that was for injury.

Foam roller all day long, really useful and tennis ball for small areas that get into spots the roller doesn't dig in enough

A garage is currently high on my requirements list for my new house. Building a home gym is a great investment and so much more practical.

A half decent cellar is also a good option if you can find one. You can find some decent kit on Gumtree going cheap, we slowly built up our equipment over a month or so. The cellar’s nothing fancy but it works a treat.

Only problem is the celler has two rooms and we turned the other one into a bar, which is the first one you get to when you go downstairs

How very dare you ask about a picture I've put on a public forum! :p

Items bottom left are pedals for a drum kit which is under the sheet next to it, and the little golden character is in fact an orange bag for life from Sainsbury's

Did 3 bootcamps and one PT session this week and then ruined it by being on the piss for 10 hours yesterday and then eating shit today.
