ive amende dpost since then, point still stands though, lots of on/off subs

and 3 stars 1 goal aint horrendus.

Your fudging the figures - in the first 11 games he made 7 starts and scored 1 goal. In total for us he made 8 starts and 1 goal before going on loan.

So his strike rate at CCFC is about the same as Platt.

I know a decent amount about the Hinckley players and I can tell you it was very much a shadow side with loads of trialists with the best players-Curtis Shaw,Paul Lister-on the bench. They do seem to have had the heart of the side ripped out, but then that happens to them most seasons when the chairman cuts the budget due to poor weather meaning postponed games! Good to see Hildreth is still playing though.

Just reading through the live text, this is the best bit:

"hinckleyunited: Baker has ball wide. 14 Jul 12, 03:38 PM

Must have been one hell of a dribble!

no your silly terminology fudged it;)

i mean 3 full games and he scored in 1 of them

rest r all either subbed off or subbed on

Exactly fudging data.

By your reckoning He must be more than twice the player Cody is because he only scored 1 goals in the 7 full games he played. The other 3 goals don't count because 2 he scored coming on as sub and the other he was taken off after an hour. ;)

It's a fair point, although one that was made by Eastwood supporters to a tiresome degree.

Seeing as it's the last time I will say it: Eastwood never scored as a sub for City. I reckon ROD will manage that this season, and he loves the club to bits. Good luck to him, I think he'll be useful (good graft/pace), if unreliable (composure/first touch).

That was a point I often made when extolling the virtues of Cody last season: he is a 2 X infinity better impact-player than Eastwood ever was!

my point is pretty obvious...give him CONSISTENT time on the pitch and lets see how he does

im not saying what will happen one way or the other, just not condemning the lad when hes in constant fear of being subbed off or wondering if hell get any time on the pitch full stop

I think he'd bag double figures in a full L1 season. There's his record at Hartlepool...and he scored against Bury last season!

Not necessarily - Nimely scored on debut but then never scored again.

I actually want him to do well, I want every player to do well but I just don't think he has it. Look at his record, the number of games his played since moving to Sunderland, he couldn't even command a first 11 spot at Hib's.

I hope he proves me wrong because that will mean sky blue success.

i think we both agree on that

im hoping he has it,cant say with conviction he does, but i tihnk game time will increase chances of him coming good

IN ROD WE TRUST(for now)
