Based on Cov telegraph is seems that the franchise has meekly caved in.
Not sure about that. Discussions have been ongoing for months. There will have been compromise on both sides I'm sure over that time.

What’s annoying me with this apparent move back to the Ricoh is this hasn’t happened overnight and has probably been bubbling away for a month or two why didn’t our owner stump up some extra dosh to allow MR to bring in one or two decent extra bodies to help guarantee us staying in the championship.
Primacy must be a red herring given CCFC existing circumstancesLooks good so far but would rather news had broken as a done deal. Hopefully the announcement will be tomorrow.
Primacy is a red herring. Yes the EFL have a regulation stating the club should have primacy but they also include in their regulations sections saying that they can use their discretion. Yes they could object. They are not going to object if CCFC have to work around the Wasps fixtures which are often on a Sunday and no midweek games in any case. They just want the whole matter to go away. If the EFL blocked it you can imagine the next step - legal action
Sky are not going to worry about it they will just show a different match if they cant fit CCFC in. Probably not going to be much of a problem in any case.
standing back from it, if you are non partisan you would expect owners to put themselves first in the use of their asset. Obviously we are not partisan and CCFC comes first
For this to work then it requires a will to make it do so, toning egos down and acting as grown ups by both sides. It is in both sides benefit for there to be a good working relationship
In terms of signage, fans areas etc - i would expect that is all available at a price. If CCFC want it they will need to make a case and pay for it, Wasps need to be open to the idea and not milk it. There seem to be better relationships between the stadium management and operational management of CCFC
Am i wrong in thinking that the EU case had been put to one side in the last negotiations? Isn't it something Pete & Mark were pushing Wasps on? again irrelevant really as it seems for this deal it has been done and that's the deal that matters
Will be interesting to see the progress made on the Uni stadium in say the next 12 to 18 months. Can't help thinking there wont be much for all sorts of "reasons"
Overall its a feel good day for nearly all of us
So what would enhance the match day experience for fans and what price should season/match day tickets be ?
I’d like to see a fanzone bar with dhillons or byatts beers on offer
personally I’d set match day tickets between £18 and 25, season tickets between £250/400
Charming
A Championship club with half its ground closed? We’d look tinpot.I've quite enjoyed match days at Birmingham to be fair *ducks from the incoming rocks* apart from what I can only imagine are the toilets flooding the place. It's a better day out on the beer.
We've been bitten too many times with these announcements, I'm not taking them seriously until documents have been signed. If by some miracle this isn't just another game by SISU & Wasps, I hope half the ground is closed. Pack us together and get some atmosphere in there.
NOPM until we're back in home.... in Birmingham... *ducks*
So it’s fine to celebrate Coventry having its team back, but thoughts and prayers for those who secretly preferred a day on the piss in Birmingham instead? Bizarre.
Bring kick for cash backSo what would enhance the match day experience for fans and what price should season/match day tickets be ?

.... and being in the championshipYou would hope 20k+ for the return to the Ricoh game if not a full house. Will be immense. Of course dependent on Covid restrictions being completely lifted by next season.
The cheeky maiden got done for ball tampering. She had no boundaries and gave it a full toss.
Hopefully that's most out of the way.
Not like being at the Ricoh will mean we'll suddenly be awash with cash, either. It'll just mean we lose less of it!We literally did bring in one or two extra players.

Wheatsheaf here we come,Get those banging tunes on.
A nice big pot of curry on the pool table after too!!!
If true be interesting to see where it is. Assume Wasps club shop is closing as the new sports bar is going there. Wasn't the ticket office also in the shop?An agreement in place for a club shop, branding around the Ricoh so it's looking good once the EFL sign-off which we're expecting today
Or Sisu or ccfc or cccStill not seen any comment from Wasps side
Talks did continue around December the 20th if I remember correctly. What’s annoying me with this apparent move back to the Ricoh is this hasn’t happened overnight and has probably been bubbling away for a month or two why didn’t our owner stump up some extra dosh to allow MR to bring in one or two decent extra bodies to help guarantee us staying in the championship.
So we just have to change our shirts? It's a 20 year deal, but we have to play in yellow and black, and NO passing forwards!
How much do we think is the shortfall for this season?Talks did continue around December the 20th if I remember correctly.
I have no idea , if its on sky it must be true that's all I'm. Going by.How much do we think is the shortfall for this season?

Would make sense for a shared ticket office to go between the two club shops but where is there space for that?
Maybe both can be true a bit. No professional sports organisation will be coming through this with a profitBobby Bridge will put out a PR piece in next few days once Uncle Derek has told him what to say.
Can guarantee it will be along the lines of:
"Extended an olive branch, act of goodwill to the people of Coventry etc"
Rather than the facts:
"We're up shit creek financially, the football club are much bigger than us & bring much more to the stadium so we desperately needed them back"

Have you seen any from the Coventry city side ?Still not seen any comment from Wasps side
He must still be writing that piece on the major new office tenant they were about to announce months ago.Isn't he busy getting freebie meals to write reviews about?
