I don't understand why we regularly stop and check, then the ball ends up with our CB's/Wilson, then we give the ball away and under immediate pressure.

Our crosses and first time balls into the box are fucking dog shit.
Hardly ever clears the first defender.

More so Fankaty today for me. looks sluggish when the ball gets goal side of him. Glad he isn't up against Roberts today. Been pleased with osti defending the back post against Clarke at set pieces (CK Richards should have been carded for that aerial nudge on Ostigard - dangerous)

Started well, got the goal and looked dangerous, then been dropping back more and more since inviting them into the game. Had chances from set pieces we've unsurpringly squandered (though so have they) and have made errors at the back that should've been capitalised on (but for once we scored off an opposition error). We've looked capable of hitting them on the break but offside discipline is terrible.
They look slow at the back so hopefully will see Walker and Godden later on to try and make the most of that, even though Max has been doing well.
Need to push up again second half and push for more goals.

Going too long too quick as that half went on. Biamou good finish after more good work by O'Hare. Need O'Hare and Hamer closer to Biamou though.

Good half. Not managed to create very much but we got the break and scored. Derby coming back in it a bit more. Not very dangerous but they like possession like us. Have to keep pressing against them as the best form of defence and keep this work rate going. Kelly much better today. overall well deserved lead. Max doing particularly well today. Doing what he has been asked to do and a great take and finish btw. Sense their CB does not like it and he is on a yellow. Just feel we may need another one if we are to win.

It's never been easier to get a message to your players than it is BCD though and we have a 34 year old centre back who also should know better. McFadz is part of the problem, he is at his happiest heading a cross away inside his own 6 yard box when he should be leading the defence out. Hope Robins get the message through at HT or it's going to be a very long 2nd half in another game that is there for the taking.

Need the discpline to hit them on the break without being caught offside. They look slow. Looks like a situation made for walker if O'hare and hamer can play him in.

Scoreline wise, a great half, but performance wise a mixed bag. Great finish by Biamou who is having a great game but apart from capitalising on Derbys mistake we have actually created very little bar a couple of 50p headers from set pieces.
Derby have come back into the game, and with 5 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders we have dropped too deep.
Got to stop giving away silly freekicks, and have to start supporting Biamou and O'Hare more.
