How much do you reckon it would take to buy them out ?

whatever they are owed - between £14 and £18 million

Pretty sure Boddy has been heavily criticised by them in the past - and by many many fans.... wasn't he verbally abused in a service station on route to an away game...?

Very brief statement.... thoughts??
I wouldn’t abuse or bother Boddy what will that achieve ?
He has his job to do.
But telling me we are still building a stadium at Warwick Uni insults my intelligence.

Chuffed to bits by this. Was chatting with my 10 year old on the way to school this morning, and he was asking when it would be announced. He's so excited to be able to get a season ticket again and go and watch every week. That's what its all about.

The lost fan base and the damage done from the Northampton and Birmingham debacles, will slowly be repaired it's fantastic to hear about 10 year olds getting excited by the news. The potential for a bit of stability and good relationships is awesome 👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

Anyone know what Duggins said on CWR?

It's just fucking weird... Our council, are just fucking weirdos
They seem (and have for some time) very bitter...
Duggins was asked if they should apologise for anything that has gone on... he got very defensive and said that it was not them that instigated two judicial reviews and lodged a complaint "that still is not resolved" with the EU commission (interesting!)
They, as I have said over the years, HATE Sisu....

Glad we back at the Ricoh, but my worry is the condition of the pitch come Christmas?

I am not getting too excited about playing at the Ricoh if it means the pitch is poorly maintained resulting in playing some dire football to suit the conditions of the pitch. We all knew what it was like the last time we played. As soon we were playing on a better playing surface at St Andrews, we became champions.

I am wondering if the quality of pitch maintenance has been discussed during negotiations for our return.

Didn’t you see the state of the St Andrew’s pitch last week. It was balder than me!

Just to echo everyone else, its tremendous news. Hopefully now we can have a few years of just worrying about the pitch and what happens on, not off it.

Sorry to link to Cov live but there are a few good things in this

- we have primacy of fixtures
- we're working with them on the pitch, it's having major regeneration this summer and we're jointly investing in more lamps
- Boddy expects us to average 17k
- we can hold pre-season games, testimonials and the like
- best ever deal on F&B, we get a slice of car parking revenue too
- implies we're paying the same in rent

If all this is true we've properly had their pants down.

Some softening language in there though...
potentially the best deal we’ve ever had”
believe it’s the best deal...”

Hope it’s class obviously but who really knows. Did we ever figure out how much pie and beer revenues were worth?

Yes it was and ccfc are now involved in the decision making and financing of the pitch. there is a joint pitch maintenance committee

Pretty certain both organisations will win out of this. Stephen Vaughan was waxing lyrical too

Well, two hard-nosed businesses put making a profit over squabbling about the Arena, who'd have thought it?
Both Wasps and CCFC must be feeling the pinch after 12 months of this pandemic, and despite the Council's attempt at involvement, have decided to join forces to mitigate their loss. Maybe that's why they're in business and not politics, issues came be overcome. Duggins and his crew should keep their noses out, and I hope we go on to bigger and better things, and they can be as angry as they like until they leave office.

I wouldn’t believe anything about the ccc being against the move back to the Ricoh unless I heard it with my own ears
