How much do you reckon it would take to buy them out ?
whatever they are owed - between £14 and £18 million

Thing is who in their right mind would buy us? We still don’t own a ground. Without owning the Ricoh there’s no point investing in the football clubHow much do you reckon it would take to buy them out ?
Calm football then up town on the piss, as long as covids not causing issues. If our first game is at home next season and we stay up we will be playing on Friday night 6 august I think that’s a certainty
I wouldn’t abuse or bother Boddy what will that achieve ?Pretty sure Boddy has been heavily criticised by them in the past - and by many many fans.... wasn't he verbally abused in a service station on route to an away game...?
Very brief statement.... thoughts??
Many clubs don’t own their grounds.Thing is who in their right mind would buy us? We still don’t own a ground. Without owning the Ricoh there’s no point investing in the football club

Chuffed to bits by this. Was chatting with my 10 year old on the way to school this morning, and he was asking when it would be announced. He's so excited to be able to get a season ticket again and go and watch every week. That's what its all about.

Anybody hear Duggins on CWR?
Trish Adudu tried hard to ask him a few difficult questions... he got a bit agitated!!
This from someone who gets inside info from the council;
Said he's making voodoo dolls of nick Eastwood and joy seppalaAnyone know what Duggins said on CWR?
They seem (and have for some time) very bitter...It's just fucking weird... Our council, are just fucking weirdos

Shame that Trish and Cllr duggins couldn’t just say great let’s move onThey seem (and have for some time) very bitter...
Duggins was asked if they should apologise for anything that has gone on... he got very defensive and said that it was not them that instigated two judicial reviews and lodged a complaint "that still is not resolved" with the EU commission (interesting!)
They, as I have said over the years, HATE Sisu....
With the option of buying the Ricoh which they didn’t doSisu did
Pete.... I can sort of get on board (and I can't believe I'm saying this!) with that sentiment re Wasps.Shame that Trish and Cllr duggins couldn’t just say great let’s move on
Someone on here said it has been spoken aboutGlad we back at the Ricoh, but my worry is the condition of the pitch come Christmas?
I am not getting too excited about playing at the Ricoh if it means the pitch is poorly maintained resulting in playing some dire football to suit the conditions of the pitch. We all knew what it was like the last time we played. As soon we were playing on a better playing surface at St Andrews, we became champions.
I am wondering if the quality of pitch maintenance has been discussed during negotiations for our return.
Didn’t you see the state of the St Andrew’s pitch last week. It was balder than me!Glad we back at the Ricoh, but my worry is the condition of the pitch come Christmas?

Local businessmen ??Thing is who in their right mind would buy us? We still don’t own a ground. Without owning the Ricoh there’s no point investing in the football club

Coventry City Ricoh Arena return - Boddy and Vaughan face the media
Latest Coventry City news from CoventryLive as we bring live updates on the breaking story that the Sky Blues are returning to the Ricoh Arena after nearly two seasons awaywww.coventrytelegraph.net
- we have primacy of fixtures
- we're working with them on the pitch, it's having major regeneration this summer and we're jointly investing in more lamps
- Boddy expects us to average 17k
- we can hold pre-season games, testimonials and the like
- best ever deal on F&B, we get a slice of car parking revenue too
- implies we're paying the same in rent
If all this is true we've properly had their pants down.

Pretty certain both organisations will win out of this. Stephen Vaughan was waxing lyrical tooSorry to link to Cov live but there are a few good things in this

Was this his way in your meetings !??This brings back memories.
I wouldn’t believe anything about the ccc being against the move back to the Ricoh unless I heard it with my own earsWell, two hard-nosed businesses put making a profit over squabbling about the Arena, who'd have thought it?
Both Wasps and CCFC must be feeling the pinch after 12 months of this pandemic, and despite the Council's attempt at involvement, have decided to join forces to mitigate their loss. Maybe that's why they're in business and not politics, issues came be overcome. Duggins and his crew should keep their noses out, and I hope we go on to bigger and better things, and they can be as angry as they like until they leave office.
