But if those three players have been around the other players, then they would all need to self isolate.

This is what would happen in a normal work place, if you all had the track and trace app and one goes down, then the whole office would be told to self isolate.

That’s only the EFL round of testing, if I recall don’t we do 2 voluntary ones aswell as the EFL one?

if Rotherham also have a testing program these players were possibly pickedup on them ones

You have to wonder what the EFL are going to do considering that its being said that its against PFA regulation to play 3 matches in a week, the only real thing i can see is playing in international break. Unfortunatly that puts us at a disadvantage not having Osti for their 2 man mountains upfront.

The international break is mandatory for the Championship and the fact we even might have one player on duty in Leo means we can say no.

The other two postponed Rotherham games have been rearranged which just leaves ours.

There's no way the EFL extend the season so looks like they'll pick one of the Thursdays (15th or 29th Apr?) for our game and then move our scheduled following Sat game to the Sunday.

29th would make the most sense as we don't have a game the following midweek.
If we played on the 15th we'd have 4 games in 9 days.

Acording to the Rotherham forum after the Sheffield game they had an after match get together and one of their squad went around the whole squad giving it the high five which may explain why they have the outbreak and Sheffield's players wernt effected

Talk of EFL having a full investigation into the COVID situation at Rotherham.
Quite right as well. They can't keep postponing games every month.

There needs to be some answers. If there are only 3 positives in the whole football league, they should be made to play or forfeit the points even if all 3 are at Rotherham. We had to play with Wilson and Fadz out with Covid so what's the difference?

Morcambe match.

Nowhere near as bad as you are making out.

Appreciate these are only highlights but we both had chances and we could have scored a couple.

Investigated by the league, ha ha. Joke.

Edit: just seen the highlights have already been posted. Still a myth though. Similar to getting in a scuffle after a few drinks with one bloke and within a year you “knocked 6 blokes out and the bouncer.”

The worst thing about the Rotherham game being postponed, is without a game to discuss, people on here will feel obliged to invent all sorts of garbage to debate instead.

Also it does stall our potential of building some momentum after beating Derby.

An investigation is pretty inconsequential to us. At most Rotherham will be issued a heavy fine. It's highly unlikely they'll receive a points deduction and even if they did it would probably be suspended anyway.

You are right ! The world has been misled by a 2 hour interview by Ian Wright

What about ours when Walker, Wilson and McFadz had it?

No idea, it seems a bit of a grey area.

Shipley had to self isolate for 10 days when he came into contact with someone who had the virus.

And that might be what has happened at Rotherham I thought I read it was six or seven with the virus but I suspect others who have had contact with any of them would have to self isolate for ten days so in an environment like a football club it could effect quite a few.

Exactly. Also worth remembering it was an incredibly hot day. Yet some fans wanted us to go full out and blow our chances in the play offs.

Still no date for the fixture to be played?
Think it’s a problem, apparently we can’t be made to play during the international break Watford game is dodgy too. There will have to be some re-jigging with the Rotherham fixtures looks to me the only gap they have is between April 5th & 10th so they could push the 10th to the 11th and play on the 8th but as I said Watford is a doubt too.

It was last Friday that Rotherham had to call off the Tuesday fixture with Luton. Presumably they will have to confirm tomorrow whether they are in a position to play the Watford game next Tuesday?

If they can't surely they'll have to forfeit.

If that's the case I can't imagine the other promotion contenders being too happy

Yes, I think so.
Once our game is rearranged there literally is no other free slot they can put another fixture in, if that's the case it would surely have to be they play their kids or it's forfeited.

If the Watford game is off too that could just about fook Rotherham altogether not that I expect them to win that match but their congested fixture list I reckon will suffocate them. Having to fit us and Watford into a program with only one week gap of five days how are they going to do that.

Their team selections need to be watched very closely by the league as they are more likely to put out weaker teams against teams like Watford and stronger ones where they could pick up points it ruins the integrity of the league.
