I don’t fall out with people me pal, you’re just a bloke/woman with a different view to me, that’s why I’m here, to debate with people who see things different to me, it gives me a better understanding of other clubs and the way people with different viewpoints see things, and overall that gives me a better knowledge of the clubs we’re competing with. If you want to know about over clubs/teams listen to the people that watch them week in week out, and it’ll give you a far better understanding of what’s happening in your league. But if you don’t agree with them challenge them, and they’ll fight their corner, and you’ll see where they’re coming from.
That’s all that’s happening here in my opinion

No malicious intent, but technically last year you were a bottom 3 side and stayed up due to another team going into administration and having points deducted.
However, after a mediocre start to the season you’ve been like an express train ever since. It’s some turnaround and I wouldn’t bet against you sneaking into the autos. Do you put it down to the new manager coming in or do you think you’d still be in a similar position had your last gaffer not walked away?

Just been having a PM conversation on here, and this is what I put and sums up my feels on us.
To be honest pal I’m absolutely buzzing about my team at the moment, so this is going to sound like rose tinted bollox.
A lot of football fans outside Barnsley and South Yorkshire, who’ve only just noticed us this season, think that it’s happened by fluke. And they’re hell bent on only seeing we got lucky last season, with the Wigan situation, (and we did,) but it was luck we were able to capitalise on due to our recruitment that summer. We built an entire new squad when we came up, and it took a few weeks maybe a month too long to get it running right, in December last season we had 11 points, once the team gelled we went on the type of run needed for a play off finish, and just scraped safety due to Wigan’s points deduction, and Because of last season other fans think this season is a flash in the pan, but it isn’t it’s just the start.
Our recruitment policy involves so much it’s difficult to explain it all,
Youth, fitness, strict medicals that take days, data analysis, gps stats, it’s all looked into, by a recruitment committee and medical team that are really really good at their jobs.
All our back room staff are top quality, but especially the medical and fitness lot, again loads of fans are going on about us being lucky with injuries and that we’ll run out of steam. It’s not luck it’s good recruitment and brilliant sports science, look at the way we are changing the team around every game, starting line up then 5 subs early on in games, it’s not luck it’s recruiting the right people to recruit our coaches, players, medical, and conditioning staff.
