Start Max and God upfront. Get at least 45mins out of God as he needs one change to score and then swap with Tyler if he is tired.

Have a back 4 and set-up to attack. Also time for Marko to come back.

Marosi
Dabo Leo Dom Sam
Kelly
James Hamer
O’Hare
Max God

Huge game klaxon has been set off.

Must win in my eyes, nothing about bettering or equaling Blues or Rotherham, we have to get 3 points here.

I'm hoping Fadz being out won't be too much of a hinderance as it means we can push the defence higher to remove some of the threat from the box. The key will be winning the second balls. I'm hoping that as we basically rested for 30 minutes on Tuesday and they were run ragged by Barnselona on Wednesday we will have the edge plus a bit of desire to right things from midweek.

2-0 city, Walker and Osti.

Time to wheel out those good luck routines.... be it stroking your owl in a particular way or wearing the underwear you wore last time we won... we all need to be doing it. I’m putting on my membership top which has a 100% lucky success record.
Every time I've worn last seasons shirt to watch a game we've avoided defeat so that is coming out today

Right lads, this is my last contribution for a few days, tomorrow is new hip day. I have to be there at 07.30 and surgery mid-morning so hopefully I'll be awake enough to watch the game on ifollow. All being well I should be back towards the end of next week. PUSB
I remember when I had my first one done. The doctor came in the next day and asked me to sign a form giving the hospital permission to use the bone they'd removed for research. I told him that I would have been delighted to but had already promised the dog that he could have it.

Has to be this line up for me. No excuses today... have to go for it. Anything other than a win would be a shocker.

What’s up with you all no worries we will win this comfortably it’s those below us who will be worried, we’ll be nine ahead of Rotherham & twelve ahead of Sheffield Wednesday come 5o’clock

Not melodramatic to state this is a massive game.

After the shit show against Luton ideally we put in a performance and a win, but a win anyhow, anyway, is the priority.

McFadzean is a loss, but Ostigard is more of a McFadzean than a Hyam/Rose, so he’ll fit into the centre role well and is more than good enough to deal with Akinfenwa. He’ll just need to show his maturity today as I’m sure they’ll try every experienced tactic they have against a young back line.

I’m sure Wilson’s confidence is absolutely crushed, but Marosi needs to come back in now.

We are a better team than Wycombe, but it’s the teams around us we seem to struggle against. If we put in a performance I have no doubt we’ll win, but it’s a big IF and is very dependent on how MR sets us up (both tactically and formation wise) and the confidence of the players.

I would give McCallum a rest as he’s been off form recently and attacking is not his strength, but we have no other options and he isn’t the only one underperforming or 50/50 performing (Kelly, James, Dabo (fitness), Hamer, Hyam, Biamou).

Big risk starting Godden, but even if we just get a strong 45 that’s fine.

Marosi
Pask Ostigard Hyam
Dabo Kelly Hamer McCallum
COH
Biamou Godden

3412, get Marosi back in, put a fucking rocket up their arses. If they don’t turn up today they don’t deserve to be Championship players, full stop.

Marosi
Rose Østigård Hyam
Dabo James Hamer McCallum
O’Hare
Biamou Walker

Get Godden on for as many minutes as he’s capable of.

Reid is fit I think, but I wouldn’t chuck him into this game. Would like to see him before the end of the season though, agree McCallum has been poor.

We’re losing 2-0

Actually spoke some sense but some stuff are a bit questionable as I think our dangerman and the one they should be worried about is Ohare, also our whole backline isnt the weakness its just the fact we need a left footed center back as Hyam and McCallum on the left doesnt fill me with confidence and I would rather MacCallum start than Hyam

We need Ostigard to put in the same performance as he did against Deeney.

Huge game today. Anything less than 3 points will be a disappointment.

Got to go 2 up top, I'd start Godden and give him at least a half, id also be tempted to rest Hamer who has been really disappointing over the last month or so.

If we go 4 at the back

-----------------Marosi
Dabo----Osti----Hyam----McCallum
-------------------kelly
---Hamer/allen--james
----------------o'hare
--------Biamou -- Godden

If we go 3 at the back, id drop Dabo and bring in DaCosta who has much better delivery from wide.

------------------Marosi
---------Rose---Osti----Hyam
DaCosta--Hamer-Kelly----------McCallum
--------------------O'Hare
-------------Biamou--Godden

I don't know where that intensity went that we saw against Brentford.. But we havent seemed to produce it since... Which is a bit disappointing.

Prevent the crosses,. Set pieces... Like we had to against Luton and we should win

I just don't know which city will turn up and that's why I'm nervous

There is no doubt in my mind that if Allen had started in place of O'Hare for all the games O'Hare has started this season we would be safe already. O'Hare is great because he runs around a lot, but his impact on games is just not there for a No. 10. He is so, so bad at the final ball and finishing.
And Allen runs about a lot loses posession and has no influence on the game

We could try something like this

Although a Max fan (the Cult?!?), if we are leaving him out, I would start Walker, as I don't believe Godden is ready to start yet. Think James has more in his locker than Kelly (although maybe memories of the away game will recapture Kelly's goalscoring feat!)

I think Walker may suit this game coming off the bench at half time or 60 mins as I believe their defense is not the quickest and Godden will wear them down

Beaten us once in 11 encounters, we won the other 10. We were very fortunate to win at their place in December. The stakes are higher than they’ve ever been imo. 100% must win. If we can’t do our own dirty work today, when can we?
