No worries mate, just keep singing O'Hare's praises when he's a No.10 for a team that can't score goals or create chances for the life of them (y)

So the answer is to stick a defensive 6 or 8 there?

There is no doubt in my mind that if Allen had started in place of O'Hare for all the games O'Hare has started this season we would be safe already. O'Hare is great because he runs around a lot, but his impact on games is just not there for a No. 10. He is so, so bad at the final ball and finishing.

Very much enjoying the conviction in the first part of this post, it's still making me chuckle 😁

I honestly pull my hair out at people who can't see the problem in O'Hare. He's a hindrance to this team when starting. Far, far more effective off the bench, which is how he was utilised for large parts of last season.

You're bald mate.

There was no doubt in Harold Shipmans mind that giving his patients a lethal injection was the right think to do.

Still confident we can get the win tomorrow but have just noticed we have exactly the same form as them over the last 8 games (7pts) which is worrying considering they are considered the whipping boys of the division.

We cannot start 3 CDMs v this lot, would love a return to the box but not sure who I'd start behind the striker alongside O'Hare, I'd consider Shipley only because Wycombe are the closest thing to a L1 team we'll play and he won't look as out of his depth

Marosi
Rose Osti Hyam
Dabo Kelly Hamer McCallum
O'Hare Shipley
Walker

Baka surprised me, I know his stats are not good but he has played 290 minutes, equivalent to more than 3 full games over a total of 12,
and has had 1 shot on target (0 goals)

I'm worried about tomorrow and people discounting Wycombe as "no hopers" who we will beat easily are over confident.
We will need to be very strong dealing with crosses into the penalty area and losing Mc Fadz is problematic, as this is one game he is very suited for.
I wonder if we will set up with a back 4?

I genuinely think we will lose but pick up 3 wins in other games before the end of the season. Its the Cov way.

So, you're Jamie Allen then (y)

Walker has to start. We need someone who can finish.
I share some of your concerns about his work rate but I do think his fitness has played a part in that.
I actually thought he looked more aggressive off the ball when he Came on Tuesday but it's hard to judge when the game is already over.

I'd start him and Max and bring Godden on later in the game.
Handy to have Biamou in there for their set plays as well.

Fair analysis.

It's a shame we haven't got to see more of Gyökeres as I think he could have added something. The manager clearly disagrees though.

I thought I'd pop on today talk about the city and immediately was drawn to this post as it made my left eye twitch like Charlie from me myself and Irene.... I just can't communicate properly with this kind of football knowledge

That wasn’t an easy chance and don’t forget McFadz missed the rebound from an even better position

In my opinion we need to be as attack minded as possible from the off, two up top hopefully Godden is one, Callum O’Hare behind I would have Jamie Allen left hand side of centre mid, one for his work rate and two he gets into the box supports the forwards but can recover and support the full back when necessary and go with a flat back four.

Go for Wycombe from the off. No tip tapping about in midfield and going nowhere.

Godden won't start tomorrow. According to Robins he's still having problems with his foot that he's still having to manage. Not to mention he's only been in training for a couple of weeks.

I think we'll be seeing him come off the bench for a while yet.

Isn't there some kind of injection that they could give Godden in his foot to null the pain ?...has there been a high profile footballer out with this kind of injury ?

Wow I'd completely forgotten about that! Looked back and I couldn't listen to that game so probably wiped everything but the goals from my memory. In which case we've no other option than to go 2 up top, I'd go for Max and Walker with Godden coming on for the last 20 minutes or so

Midfield wise tomorrow would like Kelly, hamer, Allen, ohare a back 4 of dabo, osti, hyam, mcCallum. Marosi, in goal up front Victor, walker with godden to come on 2nd half.
