Robin's and Vivash have done remarkably well. The problem does not lie in them alone. Luton was a warning sign of players looking like they had lost some edge to their game. Today they needed to put that right against the worst team in this league bar none. They not only failed at that, but were almost as bad as the opposition in terms of play. The tatics were strange from the off, long balls, ping pong and a lot of missed passes, energy to get to the ball first, and movement. Add to that we appeared to go backwards or sideways, with the ball with no player looking to take things forward and out of ideas. Throwins where we stand and stare instead of quickly on with it. Given the chances we did create, either missed or chances that we just didn't get hold of it's really poor from these players. Hamer twice who should have scored early doors, and when he made space for himself and could have been the hero, only to shoot poorly. max, don't get me started. We just did not look like we were all on the same hymn sheet. That's down to Robins. I also suspect he has been rather too lenient with them of late, and should for once be having a go at them. We want a completely different performance next game, back to what we do best. Robin's needs a rocket up the backside of the likes of McCallum, Hamer, James, Sheaf, O'Hare and remind them life will pass them by in league 1 if they don't get their act together. Oh how we miss McFazdean in the side. Kelly is out as is Dabo now. Never thought James and Kelly could work the same pitch, so not overly concerned. But what has Allen done wrong? Rather see him start than Sheaf next game. All very frustrating and all in our own hands. Don't invite the pressure through the door. 9 games we should approach like they were cup finals. Back at the Ricoh next season, so every extra incentive is there. James playing for a contract as is Sheaf, Max, Ostigard, Hamer, DeCosta, so let them earn it.
