Are they any better than Robins though?

It’s impossible to know whether they would do better. I’m just saying that’s 2 this week who have similar track records to Robins and were available.

I don’t want Robins sacked but it’s naive to think that there’s no one available that could feasibly do better.

Yes but he's a teenage left back who sadly got injured just after arriving. How is that the managers fault?

Was spending our finite resources on a teenage left back, a holding midfielder and 2 strikers nowhere near the first team the best we could do in January?

Slade and Thorn were abominations that achieved nothing at the club. Again, name me viable replacements for Robins instead of your usual deflection tactics

It isn’t deflection in these league robins has a worse record than Peter Reid doesn’t he?

I was in the camp before yesterday. We’ve got 9 games left of the season. Yesterday at home to the worst team in the league we started 3 defensive midfielders and 1 striker... the excuse bandied about his height. There was no intent to win the the game and when we fluffed the chances we had we reverted to nothing.

we’re sleep Walking to relegation and the manager has no idea how to stop it

the budget argument is stupid, whilst there’s merit to it, last season Luton stayed up at a canter. Their budget is not going to a mid table budget

If you think Luton stayed up at a canter then you must think we're staying up at a canter too because they survived by 3 points and we're clear by 4 points. Your argument makes no sense.

And 5 teams have worse form than us over the last 6 games, including 4 of our relegation rivals so again your argument makes no sense.

@Barnsley said it “he shits himself at this level” we see it games are there to be win he doesn’t twist it’s all too cautious at times this season set up more positive more positive changes in certain we would be higher in the league...he’s not at this level tactically he’s not tactically efficient loved what he’s done it can’t be ignored but questions are now being asked,I don’t have a name of a manager I want to come in either I just want us to stay in this division...Robins needs to find it from somewhere the players need to stand up to this battle embrace it and get this by the scruff of its neck

Just a hypothetical question - those who are fiercely loyal to Robins, if it was guaranteed a new manager would keep us up, would you choose loyalty or survival?
Survival.

I really rate Robins, but we have to stay in the Championship I feel.

There isn’t a glaringly obviously one who’s done it at this level these types of managers also cost money and want a budget

Again name a replacement. I bet you can’t. Luton finished three points outside of the bottom three. Clown
luton lost one of the last 12 after sacking their manager and pulled themselves at of the bottom 3

I’ve already name Gary Monk as a short term option. He’s twice pulled teams out of the shit in both the premier league and championship.

Neil Harris did a great job at Millwall. I’d back him to be a good fire fighter aswell

If it was gonna be done it would of been in January if we had owners who cared it might of been

Well we needed a left back as we only have one at the club and will have zero next year.

We needed a midfielder as otherwise Shipley/Allen would have had to play a number of games there.

We needed a striker as we had only one fully fit striker at the time.

Would it have been nice to go out and buy 3 or 4 championship level players? Yes. Was it possible to do that? No. Get in the real world, this isn't Football Manager.

With far less resources than Peter Reid. You are insufferable at times

Not really. Reid took the job on an explicit understanding a player wasn’t sold. He was then sold without even being told and had a terrible squad with zero funds to spend

If the Ricoh deal was pretty much done I think it was able to be done £1m on the right striker is peanuts if it meant we stayed up we lose £3-4m just in TV if we go down

They are not better managers than Mark Robins. Have the last five years been erased from your memory?

At the time we bid for Reid, the plan was for him to go back to Ross County on loan. As it happened, we did need him because Giles was recalled.

Sheaf and Hamer were both available we would not have needed to play Allen and Shipley holding midfield.

Gyokeres has barely been used anyway so we didn’t need him did we?

We needed options going forward, whether that be an attacking midfielder or a striker. We did not need 2 kids, a holding midfielder and a striker worse than biamou

And as it stands we are staying in the championship
Yup. And I think we will.

I don't think being at the Ricoh in League One does us any favours.

The big crowds will be here in the Championship.

I still feel we will stay up.

Name this mythical striker we could have signed for £1m in January who is better than Godden/Walker...

Gary Monk has done well at Premier League level and championship level. Neil Harris has a league one promotion and then led Milwall to mid table

Robins has historically struggled at this level. Great league one and league two manager.

I havent forgot the last 5 years but it doesn’t me an I should be happy with being relegated playing 3 DMs against Wycombe

Elijah Adebayo.

Ched Evans on a free would have been worthwhile whilst we waited for Godden to return to fitness.

And that’s just off the top of my head without access to a scouting system. We didn’t need a striker better than Godden or Walker, we needed one better than Biamou as he’s been the constant since January

we haven’t been relegated

Yes but we didn’t, it’s the story of the season.

It is. But our squad refects the fact it is our first season at a higher level (much higher), we have limited resources for this level and we have had lengthy injuries to key players.

We are where I expected us to be. But it is still in our own hands. At this stage Blackburn down are still in the dog fight.

Not yet, but the way we’re playing it’s not going to be long. We’ve got 9 games to turn our season around. At the moment we’re sinking without a trace

there’s no fight in the team, and the manager is happy playing a plank up front who struggles to score in a brothel

Ched evans would have been perfect, shocking that we didn’t sign him

Elijah Adebayo, the player that has scored three times since signing for Luton. Hasn’t Max scored the same amount?

5 teams are in worse form than us including Forest, Wednesday, Derby and Wycombe.

If we're sinking without a trace what are they doing?

No Biamou has about 2 in 25 I think? How about Daryl Dike.

2 of them have more points than us and the other two are going down. There’s one place left and the other 2 teams competing for it are fighting. One even sacked their manager

but yeah let’s be happy about a 0-0 at one of those teams playing 3DMs

Don't think we are sinking without a trace. We are 5th from bottom. Yes, we haven't won in 2 but won the game before that. A win, a draw and a defeat from the last 3 matches. I hardly call that sinking.

If we had taken half our chances in the last two games we would have had at least 4 more points. You have to remember Godden should be back now too.

The chances have been falling to Biamou, who is no goalscorer by any stretch of the imagination.
