Give it a rest will you. If we mess up on Monday, then fill your boots - but seriously just for a bit, please go away and set up a nice Easter egg hunt in your back garden, and leave us in peace.

If we lose Monday are you joining the robins out band H ? 👀😀

No - I will be temporarily annoyed, but because of the general level of travel over the last 3 seasons or so, and because MR knows the club, i think it would be stupid to rip it all up and start again with somebody who may or may not improve us. MR has taken us up from L1 (and L2) and deserves next season regardless imo. I would cite Paul Warne at Rotherham as an example at an arguably smaller club, where they have stuck with him and bounced back. If we didn't improve/get promoted ( should the worst happen) next season,, then I think it would be reasonable to start asking questions. I think he has earned the right to continue the project, though.

Despite the fact the club's chairman said their model worked in the lower divisions, but not in the Championship...?

We have players who won’t be here if we go down we lose £3-5m in tv revenue alone play going back to the Ricoh in league 1 absolute disaster

So you get cash for the players, and are able to use the model that works in the lower divisions, but not in this one...

If we go down as much as I to watch championship football I will take it because I think robins will get us back .if that doesn't happen then his job rightly should be on the line.but not before then.pusb

Really ? So you think the loss of revenue tv reported £3-5m and the low Ricoh crowds won’t bother them ? What about wages ? O’Hare on 10k etc

There will be wage reductions on relegation in contracts and they will just budget the club accordingly - there’s no interest in where we are - just a calculation

They will just adjust the budget and spend less. Done it before when things were no where near as stable. Players will be moved on, fees taken in, no major player purchases and reductions in payroll. Which likely mean hanging around in L1.

The fans will be there and in more numbers than went to St Andrews.

Given everything he’s done for us, he has earnt the right to see it through to the end, and even if the worst happened, he deserves the chance to put it right.

Well he doesn’t as if he’s offered a better job he’d leave

I thought MR’s team selection today was poor, Decosta just can’t defend, and, contrary to some opinions on here, doesn’t offer an attacking threat. It looked to me as if the most he hoped for today was a draw, (one up front) and yet he leaves the better defender, Pask, on the bench. In mitigation, I think in his interview, he hinted that he’d rested some key players with one eye on Monday’s game. But - if he doesn’t play Pask on Monday, and two up front, Walker and Gyokeres, with O’Hare in the hole, then it will show that he’s learned nothing from today. I would probably also give Eccles a start, as Hamer has been pretty ineffective for a while, and Eccles showed a hunger to play today, and a lack of fear.

My thoughts exactly. We would try to sell Hamer & O’Hare to reduce wage bill, not complete the Sheaf deal or pursue James.
Restart next season with all players on adjusted wages for relegation.
