Had nothing to do. It wasn't really a game.

A little anal with the drop balls but can't criticize him for playing the rules.
A couple of good advantage decisions
Gave McCallum a free kick when he ran into a defender near the end
Eccles free kick. Yellow was the right decision. Clive saying he was going to play Walker in for a goal but Walker would have been well offside.
I might have missed a few things. Spent lots of the game hiding behind the couch.
Overall Rating 7.5

Only big decision was the yellow/red decision. Personally thought it denied a clear goal scoring opportunity...but then that’s with sky blue specs on. If it at other end I would be incensed if more than a yellow. So on reflection he probably got that right...as he did with most other decisions.
But a very easy afternoon for him.

You definitely have got your Sky Blue specs on. For the QPR player it was a very clever yellow card to avert the danger before an opportunity arose for us. There was no goal scoring opportunity so the referee got the call right. The display from the referee should be based on how he deals with the major incidents that arise of which there wasn’t really any today.
So on that basis an easy game that still must be refereed obviously, so 6/10.

The ref was ok, although I’m not sure about the yellow, I think the man making the tackle/foul was the last defender, so irrespective of whether the ball would have been passed to Walker, the defender stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity. The other thing I think he got wrong, on at least 3 occasions, after committing a foul, a QPR player kicked the ball away. There should have been a couple of bookings there, ref/ linesman didn’t seem to care about that 6/10. Can’t blame him for the abject performance.

I did notice they were going unpunished for kicking the ball away (and in one case stopping a free kick) but forgot to mention it

Yeah thought the yellow was a red as well, was a goal scoring opportunity cynically denied. Also thought they kicked the ball away a few times with no recourse which is just a personally thing that pisses me off.

I’d say 6/10
