Were in a proper relegation battle now ..maybe this will see the change we need , players need to earn their money as does Robins.

Stay as we are we go down , we have to approach matches differently now .

1 game at a time , just fucking go for it don't let them fucking breath

Can’t see us getting anything here. The tide is beginning to turn massively and not in our favour. We can’t keep relying on others to do our work for us, can’t see us staying up now.

You think the game in hand will help us but it’s the manner in which their performing from management down to players,I think we need the get the core back in,Marosi,Kelly, fadz & Godden I would not be using DaCosta now and I think Eccles is worth a chance he looks fresh and not bogged down with a loss of confidence

3-0 defeat, Rotherham 1 point behind and more Robins excuses as to why we really had no chances against Bristol despite them being beat 2-0 by relegation rivals a couple of weeks ago

To be honest mate the way we are playing I’d be surprised if we get more than a single win before the end of the year. We are looking so poor

Pressure on us to win this is higher than any other game this season, in my opinion. Nothing less will do. Let’s hope our decent form at St. Andrew’s continues and that Bristol maintain their current vein of form.

We need to go for 2 up top in Walker and Golden, allow them to build up a partnership - consistently - for the last 8. No more chopping and changing.

Including both Shipley and Allen today was suicidal and it can’t happen again. O’Hare should be the first name on the team sheet. I used to say the same about Hamer, but he’s been a shadow of his former self since the turn of the year. Eccles came on today and did very well, I must admit that I mocked the substitution at the time, but he did himself proud. Kelly to also come back in if he’s in the right frame of mind (Hopefully his family issues aren’t anything serious).

No doubts whatsoever about starting Marosi. Gutted that he cocked up for the 3rd but DaCosta was equally as liable by inexplicably giving the ball away in the build-up. Made several very good saves today and looked far superior to Burge:II.

What do we do with this defence? They are all error prone and are the main reason we find ourselves in this mess, which is all the more frustrating given how reliable they were last season. DaCosta needs to make way for Pask, bring McFadz back in for Rose. I wish we still had Giles, as McCallum seriously need a kick up the arse and is going through the motions.

Praying for a 1-0 win, courtesy of Godden. Keep the faith 🙏🏻 PUSB

To put in perspective though, that Bristol game, Bristol were all over Rotherham that day and Rotherham showed nothing at all, but then suddenly scored from their first chance and completely against the run of play.

These things happen in football. Preston had just one shot today against Norwich, in the 90th minute and they scored from it.

Having one shot would be progress !!

Got a bad feeling about this game. Their away form under Pearson has bee very good.
Robins has really earn his corn now and at least get them fired up.
It has to be better than yesterday

For me our performance was night and day after the changes I saw more creation and fight than the whole of the time before it. We need to stop playing what we think is our "best" formation and start playing towards our best players if we don't want to go down with a wimper. I don't think Godden is fit so Gyo and Walker up top.

My problem is though, when was the last game we were under the cosh for the whole game, and we stood firm and snuck an undeserved win?

Rotherham have showed more will to win and fight than we have. If Bristol are all over us on Monday they’ll hammer us

The future doesn’t equal the past. As shite as we have been it is still just about within our hands and there’s no predicting how other sides will play.

True, but their away form has been very good. We'd probably be better playing them at their place.
They have got a big injury list though, at least that is going in our favour.

Pearson will probably run rings round Robins tactically were very predictable we have no plan B I think the entire league knows this

Lump on Bristol. Printing money at this stage. Don't think we've looked like scoring for weeks.

Can't believe people are calling for Kelly, he's been dire since his return from injury and questionable before that at this level. James isn’t setting the world alight but he’s at least on the same mental level as the likes of O’Hare and Hamer.

For me Walker has to start, probably with Györkeres and bring Godden or even Max if he’s fit on if needed. O’Hare has to start too, whether that’s Györkeres slightly deeper or two up I don’t think matters too much.

Dacosta was a liability and with McFadz back I’d move Pask out there. Got to keep Maroši in despite his fuck up, he still kept it below a cricket score. Just fucking go for it. It we lose we lose but have some fucking balls.

Form is never permanent though and as Swansea showed yesterday if you get in these teams’ faces and make it difficult any result is possible. The question is does Robins himself believe they can do it and does he have the bravery to go with the system that’s at least got us some goals if nothing else.

When do we try Hamer at RWB?
- Hasn't influenced a game from midfield in 2021
- Played there most of last season for PEC Zwolle
- Dacosta is a liability positioning-wise
- Pask offers nothing going forward from RWB
- Would give us a chance to get another technical player on the pitch in midfield

Id be open to it, and maybe stick Eccles in, but you’d lose a bit of drive in the middle.
