Last four games for a
If the team behind us didn’t have multiple games in hand, one of which is against the worst team in the league that we couldn’t even put away.
Lats four games for Wycombe..
W2, D1 L1

They may well be the worst team in the league, but their form has picked up lately.

They are well capable of getting a result at Rotherham

This is going to sound as silly as a bottle of chips, but you need Rotherham to beat Huddersfield next week. If they don’t beat Rotherham and yourselves I can’t see them picking up more than 4 points.

At this point we basically need Rotherham to lose every game.

Robins will be confident of being able to get at least 6 draws, if he can get lucky and accidentally win a couple, it should be job done.

You’re worrying about the wrong team, concentrate on catching a team above you, Huddersfield are catchable, catch and take over one team above you and you stay up, it’s definitely doable.
We can’t score a goal. A shot on target every 60 minutes that is a back pass to the goalkeeper in reality.

It’s doable, but I think the problem with that, is that it’s hard at the moment, to see us winning enough games to pull away from trouble. So our survival may depend on whether there are teams below us, or close to us, who do worse than us over the remainder of the season. Don’t like to be defeatist, and Monday’s game against Bristol City, with hopefully a more attacking line up, will show that we can take our destiny into our own hands.

The Rotherham game is massive. Regardless or their 3 games in hand, you'd always prefer points on board.

Our big issue is we have been in decline this second half of the season, we can't score and leaking goals all over the shop, not a good mix. We should stay up, but i just don't trust us.

It’s okay we are going to stay up as the bookies said so... right?

Out of interest how would you suggest we set up against you? Stodge the midfield 4-5-1 or go for it 5-3-2?

We have to actually win a game to catch Huddersfield.

Honestly mate 4-6 two out and out wingers on each side, two ball winners in the middle, play the ball in behind our full backs (who will be constantly in your half, even when you have the ball) and double up on the space they’ve left, then run at our back 3 with the ball at your feet. Getting you’re central two up in support, defend as a unit attack as a unit.

Well we don’t have any out and out wingers so guess we should just forfeit and not bother.

You’re going to struggle against us then. If you try playing it about at the back you’re in for all sorts of problems. Needs hitting into the space left by the full backs ASAP then double up on that space and you’ll probably do a job on us.

We have players who could do that but the manager has lost his senses.

Weve seen city teams play wank until 3 games to go then pull it out when we looked dead and buried .

Can't write us off yet , but we do need to find some form
I'd be happier if we did the job in the next three games. No time like the present.

No, but it provides a better barometer of where we currently stand, than do the views of some bedwetting drama queens on here.

Well the only objective barometer is the league table which has deteriorated the optimistic position from ‘we’ll be fine’ to ‘let’s take it on the chin if we drop’.

If we don’t even get a point tomorrow we’re in trouble as we then have Bournemouth who will completely tonk us.

Games where we have to get something apart from Bristol are:

Rotherham
Barnsley
Preston
Huddersfield
Millwall

Need to pull 2 wins at least out of somewhere plus a few draws.

I'm not like that. I thought we would be fine, but we have been dropping too many points, so I have begun to be a bit worried, but I still have faith we will turn it round.

I know Rotherham have games in hand, but they have to win them and pick up points and I am not at all certain they will do so.

What City need to do now, is roll up their sleeves and fight. We are surely capable of doing that and if we can put in Watford/Brentford style performances, we are well capable of getting points.

It has to start from tomorrow and I think it will. I think we will come out fighting and on the front foot.

I am confident of a win tomorrow.

You are, but I don’t think the manager believes he can do it-look what he spent two weeks of training on. We’ll see either way soon enough but for me the last 3 games are all I needed to see.

If he plays the same formation and includes Decosta I don’t think I could even watch it

Haha - I would watch it, but for the first time I would be seriously worried about MRs decision making. I know MR has made mistakes before, but if he hasn't seen the damage that Da Costa can cause to our own defence during the QPR game, then I would be asking him questions. We haven't seen him play there, but I wouldn't mind Hamer given a go, although it will be more likely Pask.

I still can’t believe he didn’t start Ohare yesterday
In a perverse way, at least O'Hare will be fresher for Monday. Not too worried about the threat from Bristol, except for Diedhou, who is talented but due to leave them in the summer, and only performs when he fancies it.
