Sheaf is just what we need at the minute, just typical of our season that he got injured when he did.

Robins wouldn’t have played him anyway he sees him as a holding midfielder and signed James in effect as his replacement

In your opinion. Not backed up by the fact that they routinely started together until Sheaf got injured though.

They’ve started how many times together?

Not many. I think it was 3 consecutive until Sheaf got injured wasn't it?

No sheaf then came off the bench several times - he wasn’t injured till after Wycombe he’s been benched for 7 games

Separate injury. They started together until Sheaf missed the Watford game injured then after that yes he was only used as a sub.

In fairness to James, he played very well yesterday. That type of performance has been too few and far between, but if he starts delivering these more regularly then he could turn the tide I suppose.

James has been our best midfielder since he signed so I really don't know why he gets criticism.

Hamer has been off the boil for a while, Kelly has done OK, Sheaf has barely had a kick. As for Shipley and Allen, well.

I really hope we sign him in the summer.

Shot assist :ROFLMAO:
Stats have gone too far

Also, what is classed as a key pass?

A key pass is a pass that results in the recipient having a shot.

Obviously that's very wide ranging as a 2 yard layoff 30 yards out counts the same as a perfect through ball.

But it at least shows that James doesn't play as defensively or as deep as some on here would have you believe.

He's obviously a decent player. I still maintain he's not the wisest use of our budget at the time, though.

Because Grendel has an entrenched position against him so will therefore bang on about it for as long as it can garner a bit of attention.

He’s been poor for the majority of games for us and plays within himself when he wants to

I actually don't give too much credence to these particular stats, just wanted to see what the reaction was.
