We need to get close to their number 8, I think it's Lerma. I thought he dominated the game at St Andrews, though we had a lack of experience in midfield that night.
Agree with that think he is one of the "nastiest" players in the league a modern day robbie savage/ Dennis wise character that bullies and kicks the opposition. Unfortunately we havent got anyone like that to stand up to him pretty much the biggest thing we lack all over the park really

Don't get disappointed when he does'nt field the team you want - he is looking at all the games we have left and where the risks are higher and lower - exactly what Rotherham have done - its about points - no good going into the Rotherham match with half the best team missing from injury or bookings

Interesting the way sentiment towards Bournemouth has changed in a few years. Most fans admired their rise through the divisions to the PL but since their relegation they're one of the most disliked teams in the league. Probably got a lot to do with a very obvious arrogance shown by several of their players who believed they were too good for this league. Also Jason Tindall had a real smell under his nose before he got the boot up his arse. Similarly take a look on their forum and there's widespread belief that they're a PL club. I'd love to see them miss out on promotion, then you'll see the rot really set in.

Rose & Hyam still unavailable (plus Dabo obviously).
Biamou could be in the squad (hopefully only 4th choice if so)

If Rose and Hyam are unavailable, we don't want any sending offs or injuries tomorrow from the back 3, otherwise we will be looking threadbare for Rotherham, whose main threat is aerial.

It's strange, people were raving about their rise up the leagues but they have been backed by a Russian oil tycoon! They're the modern day Portsmouth, backed to get up to the PL but small ground, awful fan base and are a league one club at best (A bit harsh on Pompey I know). It's a nice town, they used to play some nice stuff but don't want them going back up.

There are only three questions, it seems to me

1. Continue Eccles yes/no - DaCosta is the alternative
2. Play one up front yes/no - Rest Godden bring in Hamer
3. If two up front, rest Godden yes/no - The alternatives are less clear cut and all unsatisfactory

So I would stick with Eccles and play one up front with Hamer in for Godden.

I didn’t think he played that good tbh . But if that’s all we have then he needs to be one of the two up front . I still think he is lazy and don’t chace down enough .
Except he had a hand in all 3 goals last week. I’ll take that if he didn’t play that good.

Dont you get it? He’s lazy mate. I don’t want my strikers having the energy to latch onto a bad backpass in the dying minutes and kill the game, I want them so tired they make that bad back pass in the dying minutes and cost us say a point against Nottingham Forest.

Biamou was a sub in that game (not to counter your point)

Got to be one of the smallest stadiums in the Premier League ever, surely?

Absolutely sod all ambition because they were up there for ages and never extended it properly.

Two up top and take the advise of the medical staff on Godden. He needs to be fit for Thursday.
Having caught bits of the Rotherham Wycombe game I'm convinced him Walker and O'Hare will run riot against them.

I remember that, 88-89 season. It was the first leg of a League Cup tie, they were a big side then. I think we had a few players out with a sickness bug and they murdered us. A load of us had been planning on a good away day at Coventry but there was no point after that home leg.
Speedie did play - little git.

Fancy you to get something against these tomorrow, reckon restriction will let the shackles off and allow you to attack and stick it to them.

You've got the hots for the City. Admit it Barnsley.
