Not saying it's an omen, but I've just had a pair of Max Biamou's boots dropped off at my house, (size 11, in case anyone's interested!).

Haha. They'd been worn, and have his name/French logo, plus signature. Won some nice stuff in a CCFC supporters' raffle.

You could well be right. Since his arrival, he hasn't seemed happy. Even when he scores, the smile looks forced. If he looked like he's enjoying his football and more importantly to the fans, looked like hqe's enjoying being at the club would probably change how fans perceive him. But I'll disagree on the front 2, God and Biamou would be my preferred pairing though I'll admit Gyoko and Walker would play in a similar style.

I personally like Walker. He’s not the finished article so there is plenty of development still. We have barely seen him fully fit this season. I think he will come good

Fully expecting Hamer to come back in. There's a lot of belief that you need to go long early to counter Barnsley's press & I don't buy into that at all - you can still play through Midfield but you need to have real quality on the ball to do so. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gyok or Biamou start either.

Would have preferred gyokores but never the less , expected and confirms we will play direct as we need to tbh

Optimistic we can cause an upset today.

Players will be on a high confidence wise and if MR gets it right tactically again then Barnsley are not invincible.

Godden hasn’t looked right to me yet (understandably so - not fit), nor has Walker (also understandably so - not match sharp) and despite then being our best strikers I would bring Biamou/Gyokeres in for Godden today.
