The Callum and Cody partnership (3 Viewers)

Now I am hearing good things about Callum Ball from some Derby friends. They hold him very high regard and has all the attributes to be a top top striker. They say he should do very well in L1. He has pace, height and good on the ground and air. Good with link up play as well. Just too many other experienced strikers ahead of him at Derby at the moment.

Moving onto Cody - he was very unlucky not score more goals towards the end of last season. He will score goals in L1 and Ball will be a great foyle for him.

I reckon we will be in for a goal glut with these two upfront. 30-40 goals between them.

L1 teams are going to fear them with Fleck and McSheffrey just behind them.

Here's to the CC partnership
:pimp:

A reminder of what he did in L2 in the 2010/11 season with the Gills.

i hope that has only been the case becasue we've had no strikers on the trip though! becasue we cant just play 1 up front surely! we need ball and mcdonald together to improve the attack!

Dunno at Hinckley we had Elliot, rod, Jeffers and Daniels.

I liked the 4231 formation. It gave us way more width than the diamond and crucially allowed us 2 central midfielders sitting behind an attacking bank of 4. If we play 2 up front i worry we will revert to the diamond which got us relegated.

just spoken to my friend who is a sheepsh....sorry derby season ticket holder, he rates Ball very highly. he described him as strong, tall, good on the turn and rarely misses the target. His only criticism is his lack of pace but i suppose that is to be expected if he is a target man style striker. Every derby fan i've spoken to seems to be surprised clough has let him go...looks like Thorn has played a blinder and used the high demand for keogh to pursuade Derby to let us have one of their promising players....nice to see we're not being pushed around for a change
