I’m feeling confident, I think Godden and Gyokores will start up front with ohare behind, just to keep everyone fresh.

Slightly worried that there might be a natural come down after the effort put into the last 2 matches, but if we can start the game well hopefully the confidence they must have at the moment will carry us through. Would be nice to get as high a finishing position as possible, rather than just coast through to the end of the season.

I’d be starting Walker and Godden IF this will be the first choice pairing next season. Both need to get up to speed individually and collectively they need to form a partnership. It would obviously mean reducing the amount of long balls forward from the last game!

Win this ugly first. Then next three games it should be players who are likely to be here and a football style we want to adopt I think.

I know we’re basically safe but I’d rather be sure.

Just chatting to someone with a Stoke supporting mate. Apparently they’re on the beach already and have several of their better players out.

2-0 Stoke then.
I live just north of Stoke on Trent and have a number of friends that are Stokies, cost kick a bo agen a wo an yed it til it bosts? They feel their season has been disappointing, their current form is poor (I haven't checked that fact) and they expect a win for us.
We shall see duck.

Rovrum game kicks off at 6pm so you can watch the first half before watching city on the red button. (If you have sky of course)

Last nights results were perfect puts PNE on the beech and has us looking over the railings for a deck chair. The Sheffield result still gives them a chance to clamber out of the drop slots, I have doubts Rotherham will get 9 more points, Sheffield Wednesday still might. We can enter tonight’s game a bit more relaxed and I’m confident we won’t lose.
Everybody fit unchanged team for me would go for Godden over Max though.

I'd love Rovrum to climb out of it, and Wendsday vs Derby on the last day, to decide who gets to drop!

Can't see derby getting 5 pionts let alone 9 pionts as for shed wed think they will get a point from derby so they won't make maximum pionts .It won't matter because think we will be well clear.

Should draw today at least. Preston will be I think more determined. Most teams with zero to play for will be glad it’s all over and those who want the result now will get it

Feeling optimistic about tonight again. Two up front and on the front foot, high pressure and we’ll win.

While we’re essentially safe now it would be good to secure it so MR can give a few of the youngsters an opportunity at Championship football.

I said this post match against Rotherham (I think), I also hope we finish lower mid table. It will be deserved and justified and give us a great starting point for next year, which I expect to be a positive one as hopefully we’ll have learnt to cut out the unforced errors and therefore win/draw more than we’ll lose.

Just looking at the table. Win more than you lose and you’re basically a top ten side. For us it would mean turn four losses into draws and four draws into wins (as it stands). Put like that it seems eminently doable. I bet we could all reel off eight games we were capable of doing that if we just cut out a few mistakes, had a bit more belief, or had better luck.

Reckon we'll see a Jodi Jones 10 minute cameo or two once safety is a cert?

I would love to see him back before the end of the season after all he's been through but I doubt Robins would risk him without a proper buildup of games. Playing him just because could cause more problems than they eliminate.
