Not great but who cares?
Lots of throws went the wrong way
Godden’s pen shout. 50/50 some refs give it some don’t. I had ifollow issues all game but watched after the game. Technically it was a pen
Walker’s shout. Was clipped possibly would have got it if he went down earlier
There was another coming together early in the second half that I thought was worth a shout but no- one appealed an commentators didn’t mention it
Some strange advantages. There was one he let go when O’Hare had the ball with nowhere to go because both Godden and Walker were on the deck
Drop balls. He got a lot of stick for the two drop balls but I don’t think he had much choice. Probably correct calls
Not enough added time first half too much second half
Good job his mistakes didn’t lead directly to goals.

Problem with most refs is they’re inconsistent with their own flow of the game. Most start off letting the game flow and then quickly begin blowing for everything. Very annoying

For what it’s worth...Mikel should’ve been sent off.

Assuming we're talking about the same thing he shouldn't - mistaken identity . The second foul when Clive was calling for Mikel to get a second booking was by Matondo.
Nope, not that one. He took McCallum out with a cynical trip on our left. Should’ve been a 2nd yellow.

The one I'm thinking of was on McCallum too. Right at the end, literally moments before final whistle? Either way that particular foul was definitely a yellow but he didn't give one.

Appalling decisions all night.

Yeah, I know the one you mean. The one I’m talking about was right on the touchline, in the Stoke half.

5 might have been generous. I went that way because bad decisions didn't affect the result. We were the stronger team and won

Do you have time to watch the game or just referees ? ref: seemed okay to me seen worse, there’s always bits and pieces that get missed I’d put him above average from some I’ve witnessed this season.

Yes I watch the games. I started the threads following a run of games where refs were constantly criticised.
The whole point of the forum is to share and discuss.
Don’t be shy. Instead of “better than average” throw out a number and see if anyone agrees
