I was supposed to see a friend for lunch at the Squirrel yesterday. Was closed. Had a nice garden but unsure when they open. Went to the Yard which was fairly busy.

Went to the Royal last Tuesday and the Rose and Woodbine over the weekend. Cracking beer garden.

The Squirrel has always been a bit weird. The other year after we lost away at Bristol on boxing day we came back to find it closed.

It has nothing to do with it, I dont make up the rules. It doesn’t bother me personally, I’d rather they didn’t get fined!

Fair enough. But any pub showing games most fans would be there in a shot.

Yeah they’ve done really well with the beer garden and had live music on over the weekend.

Shame that as of Monday they had ran out of Moretti though.
