You missed out Hiwula and as stated Andreu was injured in our name.
I think it is pushing it to say that Allessani and Wakefield were bought as first team players when it was stated they were development buys and whilst agreeing that the others never shone in our colors or are yet to shine, the degree of negativity on here reflects the Slade or late Mowbray era and is unjustified in my opinion based on the progress made in that time.
Allessani was taken on knowing he had had career threatening injuries but was a quality player worth a gamble and I think Wakefield was similar.

That’s right, both played more games for the 23s than they did for the first team.

O’hare and Bright were excellent. Westbrooke, Allen and Thomas were good. The rest failures.
How can you say Hiwula was a failure? He scored 12 goals in 39 league games in his first season for us mainly from out wide.

And ended up in the bomb squad on high wages doing nothing

Precisely, Allessani was never bought as a sure fire first team player. He was a cheap gamble on getting a quality player for next to nothing. He was floundering in non league and worth a punt. Even as under23's filler he probably paid his way.

Scott Twine, who someone on here linked us with a couple of weeks back scored 2 absolute bangers today. Would be brilliant if we could get that one done.

Yeah, I suggested him a few weeks back. Though some of the reports I’ve read from their fans suggest he’s very much a “highlights player”, someone who will score the occasional worldie but not much else.

Not a rumour - Josh Doig is 18, just been named young player of the year in Scotland. Left back - might be worth asking a value

Difficult to gauge his next move. He's recently been linked to Stoke, Millwall & Sunderland which isn't out of the realms of possibility but previously was linked with Man City, Leicester, Arsenal, Leeds and Celtic in the January window which is obviously way above our level. Relatively cheap development player for a Prem side.

Thought we signed the best left back up from Scotland in Reid 😎

This guy is putting together the release lists of every club as and when they come out:

Walsh not on the Bristol City released list as yet. Presumably signifies they'll offer him something.

Bradley will almost certainly sign a new deal at Luton.

Rumours this morning that he's rejected new deal with Luton.

If true, I wonder if that's personal reasons to be closer to home after the death of his father recently. If that's the case, although he'd be a good fit for us, I think he's more likely to move further North - someone like Preston or even a return to Hull now they're promoted?

Haven't read all the posts but i'll suggest Jordan Rhodes, now that Sheff Wed have gone down.
So glad there are sensible people running the club. We need to stick to our transfer policy, like Brentford and Barnsley and let other clubs throw good money after bad. Young and hungry beats overpriced, overpaid, big-name has-beens!!!!

I'd rather have Maxy B in the team over Rhodes! at 1/10th of the cost (if that).

Paterson has been liking a lot of Coventry related posts over the least 3 weeks, either hes a huge Cov Fan or theres something else in the offing...

He is a huge Cov fan. Doesn’t necessarily rule out there being something else to it but it’s understandable he would be liking Cov stuff.

Shame - we could do with someone like him –
