We just finished 16th in the league after beating Millwall 6-1.

In League Two 3 years ago.

We don't have own our own stadium.

Playing away all season.

Second lowest budget in the league.

Long term injuries to our two top scorers.

An incredible achievement.

That’s the story.

But somehow it isn’t a story......

National media completely ignore us.

Bothered or not?

Not bothered, because what the fuck are you expecting? I've heard the pundits on quest saying how well we've done under the circumstances all season. Don't buy newspapers so I can't comment on that. There is always this perception that we persecuted by the media.

To be honest the stadium thing isn’t as big this season considering we’re in empty stadia all season.

We’ve had a lot of positive press recently though, not sure what else we can get

Look Arsenal and Tottenham are in crisis. Rooney has saved Derby. Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United have been relegated. Sunderland are well still Sunderland. Leeds have suprised a few. West Ham think they have morphed into Barcelona.

The media have enough on their plate without bigging us up.

Who cares. I would rather enjoy our success for what it is and fly under the radar.

Happy for us not to be noticed that much tbh although in my opinion, what Robins has achieved makes him Championship manager of the season.
No doubt it will go to Farke, but it's easier to achieve what he did with basically a Premier League squad than to do what MR did in our situation.
Rubbish. Barnsley manager should win it even if they don’t go up

I am delighted we are going under the radar. O’Hare for example would be higher profile and, although it would take a Grendel not to see the great job Robins has done I want him to be our secret and not coveted by bigger and richer clubs than we currently are.

Next season is now incredibly important for the club. We need to improve the team to ensure we maintain our Championship status. This season, whilst unlucky with injuries, we have been very fortunate with the quality and impact of our loan players. We may not always get so lucky, and it is imperative that we upgrade our permanent squad each transfer window (particularly the summer). Fantastic job, but can't afford to think we've cracked it.

All that matters is that WE all appreciate what MR and his staff have achieved.
It's been a fantastic journey since the gaffer returned, Jimmy Hill was the last manager who achieved such success.
It's not inconceivable that we could be pushing for a play off place in a year or two. (With luck and investment etc)
Let's see if sisu share the dream.

Speaking of Grendel, he’s gone very quiet on the football board today

That's nothing. I did a 15 inch shit last week and all I got was a couple of lines in the local free advertiser. Nobody does proper journalism any more.

Nothing new, it's been like that since I was a kid and that's a long time.
