I’m thinking that we’ve probably reached that point where we open it up to everyone over 16. Those in the vulnerable groups have probably had at least one jab now and we’re already at the age groups where age isn’t really a factor. The only reason I can’t see for doing it is the availability of vaccines that aren’t the Oxford vaccine.

Which walk in centre?

Just passing on what’s in my chat:

“Hi All, If you haven't had your COVID vaccination yet I went to a walk in centre in Coventry last week. Just give them a call before you go to make sure they have some in, its different everyday no age limit I'm 23 and managed to get in

Quinton Park Medical Centre , 51 Quinton Park Coventry CV3 5PZ , 02476503485”

Is it just me that’s been consistently going to the pub since they’ve been open outside and now inside then? And I’ve not been stuck in my house for months.

That’s really irresponsible mate, think of all the grandads you have killed because you wanted a pint

I read that they have a load of Astra Zeneca vaccines in stock but refusing to administer and they're going to go out of date on 30 May. Wasted vaccines is a disgrace.
Its because they have people waiting on a 2nd dose of AZ but they've suspended its use due to the blood clotting issue. They're expected to imminently decide if they will go ahead and if not what happens to people who have already had one dose.

Gave them a ring, not doing them today. Thanks for trying!

Anyone else think 21st June will be a carnival atmosphere everywhere? Flags, street parties, piss ups, hugging randomers. Enough to bring a tear to the eye.

Give it a week after and rush hour road rage, pissheads in A+E and stabbings will make a storming return

Can't see how driving/traffic can become any worse.
Really has made me feel a bit of a novice again ,seems as heavy as say 18( months ago.

"Just 15 people out of 58,000 test positive for Covid after test events including the Brits - Mirror Online" Fifteen people test positive for Covid after 58,000 take part in events trial
This reflects the conversation I was having a lot with David last autumn with that machine highlighted by Sky (97%accurate) and I was querying the likely number of false negatives, say Wembley for instance producing 3000 plus cases.
Admittedly there will now be an element of vaccine coverage among this data and I think the article states not all the data from sporting events is in yet.
Wonder whatever happened to that company and the kit?

It is probably in the process of setting up for commercial manufacture and gaining approval
