If we could stop cancer by socially distancing and wearing masks I think most people would do it.
Aids in general could be stopped by practicing safe sex.
We've put normal life on hold for just over a year to prevent adding to the 130k deaths.
It was the right course of action in my opinion and hopefully we're on the way out of it now.

No cancer isn't contagious, more of a risk to some people though so should we just give up on life now in case we get it one day? I'm much more likely to die from cancer than COVID, that's not just saying it. It's fact.

Ironically things going back to normal will lead to increasing toxins and carcinogens in the air and thus increase the likelihood of cancer.

Again, the issue is probably more with the media than people hiding in their kitchen cupboards. Completely scare mongering a lot of the time for months, over and over all day every day.

I have full empathy, reading it back it doesn't come across with that comment. Apologies, my issue is more with the media who have done their best to make it that way.

Yeah, things like that, test events, testing hospitality in certain locations should've been rolled out a lot quicker. Everyone’s been firefighting to some extent I guess but limited forward looking strategy from us and/or most other countries

Here I am in a mass vaccination centre in a global pandemic. Could have just been the previous nights vodka I suppose but it all seemed more real. They are doing a great job, hopefully we have jabbed our way out of this.

Its certainly been a weird 14-15 months ! Maybe the vodka helped minimise the reaction.......to be fair I’ve heard Pfizer usually causes less side effects so hopefully just a bit of a sore arm is it

Depends a lot on your local demographic as well, I live in a place with an older population and they'd locally offered over 30s last week (I know a 31 yo who had his the same day as me).

Same, no side affects other than in the second day of a hangover from an all dayer Saturday. But my arm is fucking killing me. Can barely move it.
