If I was going to make something up rest assured I could come up with something more exciting than calls not being picked up. Sadly that's how it was for a time. I'm deffo not pro SISU but Fisher and Waggott have brought more professionalism and know how into the club.

Should have made something up that couldn't be checked upon?

How is the take-over going? Still imminent?

At the time I initially thought it was Sammy Ameobi that we were in for but having re-checked was told that it was Ranger. Why do you find it hard to believe that the club was run like an absolute joke?
Re: the takeover whatever I posted was factual and done in good faith and I never once said it would happen. More so that SISU were a nightmare to deal with but the means and will for a takeover was in place.
I don't particularly like your sarcastic attitude so I'll just leave it at that I think.

Nile ranger moved to Barnsley on a 2-month loan deal in November. That means he would have been available again in January. He got injured early so left Barnsley early. Wednesday took him on in March. It looks like there was a window of opportunity for Thorn to take on the striker (albeit not fully fit to begin with) in the January transfer window.

Retuened from loan on 18th December with a broken bone in his foot.

Alan Pardew quoted on the 1st January:

“He’s got a bad injury actually,” the United boss told the Sunday Sun. “I can’t see him coming back before March"

Strangely enough, he went on loan in March.

I don't, but they did enough on their own, don't need lies thrown in as well, merely undermines your argument.

To be honest the call issue may have been December I just referred to January when I should have said transfer window I suppose. It was deffo pre Waggott for sure.

Ever wish you hadn't mentioned something? :)

The report below suggests Waggott came in at the end of December. Snozzer says he thinks this phone call happened pre-Waggott. The report on Ranger returning injured is dated December 22. Was Thorn lining up a deal in mid December, knowing the Barnsley loan was only until Jan 14? I don't know.

Still doesn't take away from the fact that Ranger was injured til March!

Snozzer also said it was in January that this happened, pre-Waggot he says, though it actually wasn't.

Whichever way you look at it, not the most credible story.

Though would give more ammunition to Anti-Thorn posters with him apparently trying to get an injured player in on loan.

I think I'll choose to believe it now!

I meant transfer window as per above, I heard about it in January. Anyway it's no huge deal, it nearly happened a while ago so merely pointing out we may have an interest. That is all.

All I know is there is still far east interest and were mtgs again in London about 3 weeks ago. Whether it comes off no idea. Whether it would be better than what we have, no idea!
