I was told I wasn't taking it seriously enough because I hadn't put surnames on the seating plan. It's almost like marrying a teacher

I did raise the argument with the misses that she could always change her surname and save 10,000 pound plus .

She said no .

Great times

She wanted to keep her surname, while also taking mine. The problem is if we double barrelled it, my surname would become my old full name. So she is going to have her old surname as the middle name with the result that the last two parts of her name are also my full name.

Pretty unbelievable!

I've never heard of this Andrew Wakefield before to be honest, sounds like it was a huge story in the late 90s with the MMR vaccine and autism claims

Yes he made a lot of money and had a huge following

I see the governments great plan for catching kids up after missing a year of school is... less than 4 hours of tutoring.

I’m sure that’ll do it. Thanks Bozza.

People like Beverley Turner being given prime time slots on TV to spout her nonsense is very unhelpful. Her Twitter feed and some of her followers looks increasingly unhinged

Bit of a good news / bad news with the figures today.

Cases over 3K again even with the weekend and bank holiday lag we always seem to get. That puts the 7 day trend at a 32% increase.

However the good news is deaths on zero today which puts the 7 day trend at a 10% decrease.

For some reason patients admitted to hospital doesn't seem to be updated for a week. Does it always lag that far behind? Seems to be based on date admitted rather than date reported so maybe it does.

If the trend in deaths continues, you'd assume hospitalisations would also be going down in that case, no reason not to go for it on 21st June.

I remember reading a month or two ago that the UK vaccination program was showing that the vaccines were reducing hospitalisation and death rates despite increasing infection rate.

With the vaccines showing early signs of efficacy against the ‘Indian variant’, we should be optimistic for opening things up.

Get the population vaccinated, that’s the priority and in fairness, the government has done well here.

Indeed. I offered my full suite of recorded lessons, worksheets, activities and quizzes for Years 7-13 to Mr G Williamson free of charge, but heard no reply
