Does someone pull the short straw to lie down behind a wall, backwards, and not look where a freekick is going?

I'd want danger money.

I'd prefer that to standing in the wall to be honest. It would hurt less to be hit in the back than certain areas in the front.

Gary talking like Spain were good to watch in 2008-2012 .

They kept the ball for so long teams just fell asleep on the pitch and then they scored 😴
Might just skip their next group game ffs

It was a foul in the penalty area, doesn't matter if the ball had gone. Soft, but a pen.

Morata is so bad. Never got him. That follow up on the pen was awful.

I know he scored just really do not rate him

In fairness, I thought the Sterling one was a penalty. There was a very similar foul a few minutes later on a Scotland player which was given.
Slowed down and in the any kind of contact is a penalty age it probably was but I'm glad it wasn't given. VAR has actually been far less obnoxious in these championships than in the Premier League but I doubt we'll learn any lessons.

In terms of our style of play, I’ve seen nothing that we couldn’t beat if we played an English way- intense, fast, direct (but not long ball). After all, the high press style- what’s that if it’s not an adaptation of a ‘traditional English style?’ It ain’t exactly Tika-taka is it
After the other night I’m sure the rest of Europe is quaking 😂😂
