Just heard an interesting comment on 5 live. Apparently Derby and Wycombe’s fixtures are interchangeable dependent on the outcome of their FFP case.

incidentally, Blackpool away in August, not too bad unless away fans still not allowed.

Not a bad opening to the season but looks a tough final few weeks. Hopefully comfortably mid table at least before the run in.

On balance all looks ok apart from November and the first in December. Horrible run of 6 games.

If we can go through the first 15 games unbeaten, I an quietly confident we will stay up again. When you look at those fixtures you realise what a tough league this is though. I was hoping we might play Blackpool after they had been beaten up a bit by others though. Early doors they will still be a bit more full of themselves.

Got to be honest I don't look at that fixture list and worry

Shame I am on holiday for forest game I think. Reading will be 1st game back st Ricoh. Coukd see forest being 20k plus if restrictions lifted

Same here - you've not booked the same holiday as me have you? Lol, I worked with 2 bosses years ago, who didn't get on with each other, who independently booked a holiday at the same retreat in Greece, so both had to suffer each other for a fortnight.

UK holiday for me. Just the weekend. Booked by someone else. Had a feeling it may clash

15 games unbeaten? That's optimistic!

I was selfishly hoping the first game would be away, as it’s a massive dilemma now - it’s my partners birthday that weekend - and it’s a big one - not sure how/if I can get away with going to the game.

But it’s the first game of the season, post covid and post St Andrew’s…..

Just go to match.

The last month of the season is brutal. Fulham, Bournemouth and West Brom.
Hopefully we are safe we’ll before April.

April

Sat 2nd – Blackburn Rovers (H)
Sat 9th – Fulham (A)
Fri 15th – Birmingham City (A)
Mon 18th – AFC Bournemouth (H)
Sat 23rd – West Bromwich Albion (A)
Sat 30th – Huddersfield Town (H)*

May

May 7th – Stoke City (A)

*Altho my ccfc synch’ed calendar is already showing Huddersfield as May 1

I notice from the Blackpool forum that a lot of their home games are midweek fixtures, which their fans think have been influenced by police not wanting large away followings turning up for weekends.
