Like I said. They’re working with the relevant authorities. If fat camp was a workable option it already would have happened.Fat camp mate

Changed jobs from something where I was on my feet all day to something where I was on my arse all day and didn't think I'd have to change my diet so drastically to compensate. So I could eat shit and get away with it before now I can't. Obviously. All joking aside, can someone in here who is fat explain to me how you got fat? How much do you eat etc, genuine question. I don't physically think I could eat enough to get fat, although I don't eat cakes or crisps or sweets or any of that shite. Have I answered my own question?

Didn’t think it was specifically aimed at me. Fat shamer.Cheers, it was a genuine question, I was going to delete it but you've answered now.
I want to eat less shite, but yeah finding time to exercise more is so important. Now today I find myself in a position where I can't even go out for a lunchtime walk cos my son is isolating.Same for me, just means that if you want to eat more shite food then i find working out for longer is best as it's finding that balance.

Tbf i put the best part of a stone on in 2 months, went from a moderately active job to sitting on my arse all day. Was amazing how quick i gained it.
Then looked in the mirror after a shower one day and thought 'na you fat c**t', and since then have lost said stone in 3 months just by eating better and going for walks.
Only 14 stone and 6 foot so by no means fat, but was an eyeopener at how easy it actually is to become a porker
I had someone pile into the back of my car and got pretty bad whiplash which led to ongoing cluster headaches. You say headache and people think its nothing but if you google cluster headaches you'll find reports of people committing suicide the pain is so bad. Anyway long story short after trying lots of different things I got put on some medication with a warning it was likely to cause weight gain. I took this to be might not want to take your shirt off on the beach but it was more be a potential subject of a Channel 5 documentary. All joking aside, can someone in here who is fat explain to me how you got fat? Similar, used to walk an hour and a half a day to work and back. Once I had to drive / start working from home, that natural exercise had gone. Couple that with getting older, so it hits me more, and some people's natural stress reliever is a pint or two, mine's a cheesecake!Changed jobs from something where I was on my feet all day to something where I was on my arse all day and didn't think I'd have to change my diet so drastically to compensate. Age seemed to have an effect for me. Had a big appetite my entire life but until I was approaching 30 was a right skinny fucker who couldn’t put weight on. All of a sudden I gained a little weight. Did nothing different, same job, same activity levels, same portion sizes, same appetite and if anything I was drinking considerably less alcohol than I was in my early 20’s so was probably taking on less calories. After 30 it got even easier to put weight on and actually started going to the gym for a while. These days I eat better than I have for years, do more exercise than I have for years and the only way I can lose weight is by drastically reducing portion sizes to the point where I feel hungry all the time. All joking aside, can someone in here who is fat explain to me how you got fat? I mean…it IS calories in versus calories out though isn’t it? Like if you’re truly on a 1200 calorie a day diet now and I’m going to assume that’s a pretty chunky deficit, then you’d be losing weight no? Are you sure you’re accurately tracking?I had someone pile into the back of my car and got pretty bad whiplash which led to ongoing cluster headaches. That was 2009 and since then I've tried everything to get the weight off. Had every test known to man, every type of diet, gyms, personal trainers etc and nothing has worked. Frankly there is zero support past constantly being told 'eat less, move more' but as the last specialist I saw said, who I had to pay to see as couldn't access via the NHS, if you trialed a drug for any other illness and it failed more than 95% of the time it would be a non-starter but for some reason we've been using the same, non-working, advise for decades when it comes to weightloss.
Back when covid hit I got furloughed and without anything else changing the weight started coming off. Went back to work and the weightloss stopped but according to the doctor stress has nothing to do with it. I'm now down to about 1,200 calories a day, exercising (admittedly not the 7 days a week at the gym I was doing at one point but at least 30 minutes every day) and struggling to get anymore off.
Haven't had a drink in years, last went for a meal out in June 2015 (only know the date as it was to tell my parents I was getting divorced!), and couldn't even tell you the last time I had a takeaway. Sure you can imagine my frustration when I see people on TV moaning they can't lose weight while they inhale a bag of doughnuts for breakfast.

Second vaccine today, Stoneleigh pretty deserted today, no Pfizer on the premises until tomorrow, so just oldies really...
And now NHS send me a message inviting me to get my Covid Pass for travel etc. Aren't I supposed to wait 2-3 weeks before it's all systems go...?
It is... and they've sent me an email telling me to apply for it. Think you have to push some buttons first. Just seems slightly odd *they* wouldn't wait the 2-3 weeks as well, before letting you loose on it!Nice one ! Is the covid pass not on the nhs app (not the covid one) ?

Guess it’s just standard automated emails triggered after second jab. I didn’t get the email, just found out about the section on the app last week. Any travels reliant on the traffic light lists and specific county’s requirements anyway (reckon some might not even require double jab).
ibiza it is !
Would be easy to code in your delay there, though. Just seems slightly mental after I have a woman telling me very sincerely to keep up masks and distancing, especially as it won't take full effect for 2-3 weeks... only for the NHS to then be encouraging me to go on holiday to yep, Ibiza!Guess it’s just standard automated emails triggered after second jab.
Do you need a valid passport to get the covid thing on nhs app?It is automated. The second jab activates the app store on your phone via the dark web and installs it on your phone and in your brain.
28 positive cases from 58,000 who attended sports events over spring
Not too bad to be fair , 1 in every 2077 people and I'm not sure that they were all vaccinated either , just tested negative before the event
Bodes well for a fully vaccinated society

It looks as though the England Scotland game has caused a bit of a spike in Scotland though I would put that down to the pre match gatherings rather than the game itself.
Thought this was released ages ago.Yeah, this has been kind of lost in the all the Hancock news. It’s pretty disgraceful that health officials/gov were trying to withhold this...apparently until
Lloyd Webber threatened legal action.
As has been said before most test events were during a low transmission period so any release could’ve been caveated stating ‘it’s positive news but....’
Pilot events/social situation sampling should’ve been taking place from mid lastash year (even in higher transmission times) to see where spread happens most, what’s relatively safe or not etc etc. It’s been a lazy approach by health officials/scientific advisors to advise total lockdown of certain situations/events*, without evidence, as it appears far more nuanced than that. In addition the manipulation and presentation/misrepresentation of data and information during this pandemic has been shocking/almost worrying
*just to be clear I believe total lockdown has been fully justifiable at various times during then pandemic. I’m taking about the relaxation of regulations, where they could safely happen and when
