There hasn’t been much pressure after the years of transition, not qualifying for the last WC seemed like a major scandal.
This time there’s been no pressure whatsoever, which I think has helped.
I’d say overall football is taken more seriously here compared to England.

What other sports are big? Over here you have rugby, cricket etc, is it mainly football there

got lucky with the offside and struggled with Austria lol

They've not really struggled.. theyve lacked in the final 3rd and been wasteful .

22 shots to 10 I think it is and that's them below par

We limped past these 1-0 too and they hit the woodwork twice

They're a tough side

Italy v Belgium or Portugal... you won't see me calling winner on that I'm afraid

Belgium are the big unknown. Seem to have been called ‘best team in the world’ for years, yet never even got to a final. Crammed with world class players yet never deliver when it really matters- I think Italy beat both of them

Oh yeah I assumed cos of how seriously they take it that they pressure would be on. Then again cos they take the game seriously they might have more realistic expectations
