I have a feeling ( and that’s all it is ) that once’s he up to speed and match fit, as clearly hasn’t played much football by being kept out by England goalkeepers , we will have a very good goalkeeper on our hands. But Westwood he ain’t

Yeah the negativity on this one is a bit silly. I remember him being highly rated as part of their promotion team and then I think they signed Dean Henderson on loan twice, Moore was kept on as back up and like most prem teams, they had three goalies. He'll be eager to prove himself

Distinctly underwhelmed. Blades fans sound like we did when we released Max or Baka “lovely lad”, bit of a worry he’s barely played for years as well. And he’s not exactly young.
Hope we’re going to make an exciting signing this summer and not all average players in their early 30s looking for a last payday. The rumours don’t fill me with confidence though.

A lot of them say he’s a good keeper, not many people have followed “lovely lad” up with “good player” when talking about Biamou and Baka
Martinez didn’t play much for a decade before moving to Villa. It’s not as if the Sheff Utd fans are saying ‘nice guy, shit player’ either. Not sure who you’re expecting us to sign to be honest

Someone who didn’t sit off on the PS5 all last season would be nice. The last time any Sheff Utd fans saw him properly it was L1 and we’d just Brexited.
I was hoping for a decent loanee or a player who isn’t just looking for a payday who might retain some value TBH.

Any keeper who played regularly last season is either too expensive or not available. It's rare these days to find a free transfer his former fans actually rate. Think he sounds a decent signing

Sheaf I think had a decent start last season and can learn to stop the errors and has potential resale value, Moore would be a nice addition as has a bit of experience and played in training with Ramsdale and Henderson so may have taught them some stuff and could maybe do the same for Billson and help with his distribution

He wasn’t in the 25 man squad last season and didn’t go out on loan. He’s barely played for 4 years. Hardly suggests a desire to play or an in demand player for that matter.
I’ll back him once he’s here and hopefully he’s better than Wilson. But it’s not a signing that gets you excited is it?

tbf, we're not really in the market for established players at our level, so just about every signing is either going to be a top flight reserve, a Championship squad player who wants more regular football, or a lower league prospect.
Prepare for a pre-season of not getting excited!

Yeah, we’ll have to wait and see I guess. Sounds like he’s solid enough.
Tbh I’m not sure which goalkeeper I would have been excited to sign…maybe that young giant from wolves or that Viking from Rotherham(?). But I’ve either never seen them play or have only seen them play once against us.
The reports are that Moore is consistent. Should be good enough.
Which goalkeeper would get you excited then?

Moore has as much Championship experience as Max Biamou over his career. I’m not sure this is the win you think. Of course Biamou’s experience is more recent.
I’d rather sign a might be than a never has been.
