Italy had more possession, more shots, they were much better and hugely deserved to win.

If you don't realise what Italy just did- 70 mins of "new Italy" then 20 mins of "old Italy" stifling the life out of Belgium, then you don't really understand the game tbh

Anything to get an edge, anything to win. We see it as a lack of class, other countries see it as winning

A lot of other countries used to laugh at our 'fair play' style, even Maradona said that the only reason he even tried scoring his famous goal against us was that he knew he knew none of our players would do what any other country's would- ie chop him down before he got anywhere near the goal
