He hasn’t really played in 4 years, what do you expect me to say? I’m fucking ecstatic! It’s the signing of the century! Best keeper we’ve signed in years!

Wilson was also a second choice keeper we signed who hardly played for years and your thoughts on him are?

I’m saying, this signing is hardly filling me with confidence, I am entitled to expect better

Fair enough the majority of his other posts are purposely downbeat.

Incorrect, I suggest players who I’d like to see, pass comment on what business other clubs have done, avidly said I want Paterson, Walsh, Walton and numerous other players we’ve been linked with.

I’ve not ever been a fan of Baka or Wilson and recently said I wasn’t keen on us signing Sheaf… fucking shoot me!

In relation to the business we’ve done so far. I’m actually a fan of Waghorn, always have been. Moore I’m not a fan of as he’s not played in 4 years and Sheaf disappointed me last year with his performances and I feel $750k is not worth his performances we seen last season. If he was a free transfer as a bench warmer then would be alright but just don’t think he values the money we’ve outlaid

Fair enough thats your opinion just many here dont agree. Even Arsene Wenger believes Sheaf is a good prospect but what does he know right?Moore hasnt played much being behind 2 current england goalkeepers, a poland international and a scotland international in that time. Hardly a shock he didnt oust them. Doesnt mean he is terrible though does it?

Exactly, football is always about opinions. Can people not have opinions? Some people on here really get their backs up about people’s opinions.

In relation to the Wenger thing, that was years ago and prior to injury wasn’t it?

Alex Ferguson said Phil Jones was one of the best players he’d seen and had the potential to be a club legend, didn’t happen though did it? Neither did it with Ravel Morrison. Circumstances with players change as they get older, some make it and live to expectations, some don’t

With the Moore situation, each time a keeper left why didn’t he step up? Why didn’t he get his chance? He had four different keepers all come in and get chosen over him, if he was good they would have gone with him as their option would they not?

Tbf I have defended him on here but the Wenger comment is just a throwaway one after a young player makes his debut. You’ll be able to find plenty Robins has made about players he played once or twice and are no longer at the club.

Here’s one on Williams

Completely agree! I was actually shocked to see Williams go as I knew he was highly regarded by Robins and basically was always captain of the U23’s

Another player who was highly regarded was Ivor Lawton if you remember him,

I have no idea whether this is a good signing or not, he hasn't played enough over the last couple of years for any one to he able to form an opinion either way, thr lack of game experience concerns me a tad, but it is a signing.

Hopefully he will turn out to be decent.

It's a shame he didn't make it. Not sure what happened but had a few loan spells, always seemed to do ok

Williams seemed like a leader, when he made his first team debut he was even given the captains band in the cup game he played which I was shocked at. I wanted to see how he’d progress with us, disappointed to see him go tbh

But to be valid an opinion has to be based on facts ;)

Not answered anything I said, simply just spoke for the sake of having a come back. Poor response.

You’ve claimed I always only ever say negative things, that’s YOUR opinion and is not factual so in future, keep your not factual opinion about me out of your posts. Thanks

I wonder if our goalie coach was with him at Cardiff or was that too long ago? MR does tend to upgrade players and I hope he is better than Marosi, as I would be surprised if he is cheaper. Big bugger which always helps.
