Denmark will be a stronger test, but we absolutely blew Ukraine away tonight. I suspect I'll still be in Spain if we were to get to the final, so if by chance they get through then it could be fun.

I love the way we are going through the gears. The ambitious shot from Kane that their keeper saved well just epitomises the growth in confidence we are starting to see throughout the squad.

Shaw playing very well the strength in depth ye have is crazy what a bench should be a close game against Denmark but fancy ye to get through

Firstly I’m fucking smashed

secondly, this was the first time since February 2020 that I’ve been in a full pub shoulder to shoulder with people and absolutely going mental when celebrating a goal. Fucking love football.

And what a time and a place to be belting out the national anthem with a load of Englishman….in long beach California on July 4th weekend

Think so many of us have criticised Southgate for playing with Rice and Phillips together in the past. I know I did.

Now it looks like complete genius doesn't it.

We look a real solid side now and have the flair players to make a difference at the top end of the pitch.

We shouldn't fear anyone anymore.

They’ve been immense

Feel shocking but wow, still buzzing !

Brilliant.

In fairness hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I was saying the same thing about Sterling, but you would be completely mad to drop him now.

The whole squad has really excelled themselves to be honest. As Otis rightly said, Rice and Phillps in midfield look extremely assured of themselves too.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a good place . A place where division is shelved , a place where your colour , gender , race , religion and political views don’t matter a jot. A place where we are allowed to be as one without cynical criticism. A place where the only entry requirements are a shirt and a badge.

Blatantly plagiarised from the Sun'land board but brilliant all the same

Sterling was involved in 19 England goals before this tournament in a row. He was always a must pick on the team sheet
