Seems miner's are still fair game for this Govt , the Thatcher disdain for them still living on with Sunak.
Clearly there is good Capitalism where good folk keep gains funds accrue , but not in this instance.

Loads its styvechale - crazy isnāt it . Lovely houses thoughPeople still get papers delivered?
Maybe Iām a middle class hypocriteNo newspaper generally is balanced. It does frequently have contributors from Labour including the ghastly Blair whose wrote columns there. Would I prefer it to terrible offerings like the guardian and the observer who obsess with middle class hypocrites like Polly Toynbee and the utterly absurd Owen Jones? Yes I would
Rather a middle class hypocrite than a racist and a borderline pedophile TBH. Some of the Mail stuff is downright creepy.
"borderline paedophile"........whats that about?
Which newsagent? My Mum and Dad live in Styvechale and reckon they can't get anyone to deliver papers to them. I'd rather pay for delivery than have to get up early every Saturday morning to get my Dad a paper!Loads its styvechale - crazy isnāt it . Lovely houses though
A lot of the Guardian is unreadable these days. No wonder their sales are dropping. No newspaper generally is balanced. Itās the mail that do all that weird āhasnāt she grownā crap and who do massive spreads on anything sex related with this weird ālook at this, I mean purely to be disgusted about it honestā stuff. Or have I got my tabloids mixed up?
You're probably right, although that's why I like it less tbh. It aspires to the gravitas of the Times or Telegraph, but ends up in the gutter like the Sun, but pretends otherwise. At least the Sun and Mirror do what they say on the tin.Whilst it's not for me, in fairness I know people who read the Mail because it strikes a middle balance in content style between the comics and the broadsheet. Usually quite a lot of content as well. You could of course argue that they might be influenced by the politics, but that's not necessarily why people buy it.

The Mail tries to make people feel superior for reading it
