Remember players from our team saying in interview they couldn't get near him in training when he was on loan. He was that good.

Wasn't convinced earlier with the rumours. But I'm really excited about this signing now. We were crying out for another attacking midfielder last year.

There is something about him that is x factor and not like the Kastaneer x factor.

This boy has some serious talent. Will he track back like Ohare doubt it. That's my only concern....also his discipline in training etc.

You need moments of magic to make a stalemate draw into a win or add that extra spice. This boy can do it. Think Robins will relish the challenge of working with Bright.

In the ponds we are fishing its worth a punt. We have cleared out at least one of our last punts so we can afford to gamble again. Just have to trust Robins won't let it have any impact on squad harmony.

In League 1 Bright got 6 goals 3 assists in 18 games. So 9 goal contributions in 18. He averaged a goal every 242 minutes.

In League 1 COH got 3 goals 4 assists in 29 games. So 7 goal contributions in 29. He averaged a goal every 612 minutes.

I know stats aren't everything but thats pretty surprising tbf.
Bright joined us after 40 appearances in the Championship and was stepping down a division so he should have been good.

COH joined us after a season in League Two and was stepping up to a higher standard. He's continued to improve and get better, Bright has gone the other way.

I know. CC84COV asked purely for the stats so that’s what I gave him. Not saying bright is better by any stretxh

The ONLY relevant question in amongst all this mass of analysis is “is he better than we already have?” The answer is yes, therefore it’s a positive signing.

Doesn’t matter where he was or what he was doing or which direction he’s gone- does he improve the team is the only thing that matters

Well I doubt in the interview he was going to twiddle his tache, maniacally laugh, and then yell...

YOU FOOLS! YOU FOOLS!!!

Remember when Strachan signed Martin Johnasson and the first - and only - official picture of him was of him downing a pint in a beer tent? Seemed to suggest it was never going to work out well for him.

Bright and Callum totally different players even if they do potentially play the same position. If you can get them in the same side they may be the perfect foil for each other. The thought almost gives one a semi.
I could see Bright up front alongside Gyokres and O'hare playing just behind them!
A perfect combination of size, speed, strength and trickery!!!
Let the semi's continue 🍆🍆🍆

Bloody hell, get a thesaurus mate. It’s like you’ve heard that phrase a few weeks ago and love it so much, you need to write it on here every day.
That reminds me, I once got accused of stealing a copy of thesaurus. Not only was I shocked, I was also aghast, appalled and dismayed!

I remain highly dubious of Bright's ability to be sufficiently disciplined to fit into a team framework. Previously we were mid ranking L 1 and it could be indulged. Now we are scraping along at the bottom of the Championship, I'm not so sure....but I know nothing.

He will be cheap, so the risk is minimal, and the deal cannot have happened without Robins' sign off. I draw some comfort from that.

I'd guess we were his only ticket back into English football. He'll be on less than 5k a week but hopefully with a couple of good well behaved seasons here he can mulitply that.
