Pre-season or not, it's showing we are miles off where we need to be.

The squad is currently poorer than it was at the end of last season. Begin to get concerned now.

Is that not due to the injuries though?
(+add new CB & LWB minimum)

That second team is basically an U23 side & even then has players out of position (Shipley LWB etc.) I really wouldn't read much into that result.

i don't understand whenever we have games like this that don't give the result we all want this forum and others like it (face book for one) go into meltdown
its a friendly training game
I'm sure Wolves are going out to spend millions now because thy lost to Crewe on Saturday
Let get a grip

It's more an "as it stand" opinion.

Have we improved the GK? - unknown
Have we improved the defence? - no, currently it's hugely weakened
Have we improved the midfield? - no, James is a big loss. Bright may add creativity but unknown again
Have we improve the forwards? - Not significantly. Waghorn is an improvement on what we had but cant see him consistently scoring goals.

No meltdown, just observation. We have a lot of work to do.

The MK Dons report think Eccles scored:

It was perhaps the worst possible start for Martin’s side as within a minute Coventry had taken the lead, Josh Eccles converting from inside the box after being found by Hamer’s pass. 0-1.

I have said before that I wouldn’t like to be in the trenches with some on here. It doesn’t mean MK dons are great or we are poor, at this stage we are undercooked and the only way to get ready is to put in the work. Results mean nothing until we play Forest

read the previous posts about strong team and worrying line-ups it happens all the time
paper thin squad
meltdown occurs all the time on these forums
not so weird i think

That's hardly consistent of a meltdown. Saying the squad is a bit on the thin side is literally just an observation.

York beat Newcastle the other day

Cardiff lost 2 nil to Cambridge

Blackpool lost 3-1 to Accrington

Lincoln lost 5-0 to Boston

Crewe beat wolves 1-0

It really is nothing to go by

Yeah but MK DONS ffs.

Result is meaningless. Must be hugely challenging playing in this heat so I'm sure the players are just looking to get through these fixtures unscathed.

There is no meltdown, what there is, is a couple of muppets who want there to be a meltdown, so they can come on here and post about one.

But it's the same for both sides in the heat, they are fitter then us.
