Just hope we never play him up front in his own at this level again. Exciting to think we’d have Waghorn, Walker, Gyok and Godden available all at once though

Godden with O'Hare and Bright behind him could be something special. Add in Jones and our attacking play should be tasty.

Now for another couple in, hopefully at least one defender and a midfielder.

Classy striker that doesn’t rely on pace, so therefore could be playing at this level for another 3-4 years. A fully fit Godden being fed by O’Hare, Bright and Waghorn is some attack

Get a LB in (not Maatsen, too short) and I’d quite like the look of:

GK
Dabo Rose Fadz LB
Hamer Sheaf
Waghorn O’Hare Bright
Godden

It's going to be difficult to shoehorn in our attacking assets if we play wingbacks, which looks likely. Can't have one up front when you've got 4 decent strikers. Interesting times ahead. O'Hare, Bright and Jones potentially vying for one position behind a front two. Obviously O'Hare has to start. Plenty of games though, and a long old season.

Today I learned SBT has never heard of 4231 despite us playing it on several occasions.

Could be wrong but did we not sign Waghorn with vague ideas of playing him in a front 2?

He can also play RW/AM, and you fit those four players in in another formation.

I think we’ll play Györkeres and Waghorn with O’Hare behind and Bright/Walker/Godden from the bench, but what I think we’ll play wasn’t the question.

I like your lineup. Think Maatsen will be here as our first choice and fingers crossed we get a decent CB to change of Fadz, made too many errors for me last season which cost us goals. Still not convinced on Sheaf but hey-ho it is what it is

Having both Walker & Gyokeres is strength in depth for strikers if we were to play this formation and gives us a bit of room to breathe if one gets injured but we all know Robbins plan will be to play with wingbacks unfortunately.

A fully fit Godden is as good as any signings we have been linked with up front as for how we set up we have better options with him fully fit. I think a lot is going to depend on who we get in for CB I think it will be one plus Cranie wether we go wing backs or a flat beck four will be an option we can juggle with either before matches or during the game just need that CB position sorting and I’ll be happy for now.

What do you mean by unfortunately? We won league one and stayed up comfortably by playing wingbacks

We have way more options in attack this season. Waghorn, Bright, Jones can all play out wide if we wanted to ever go 4-2-3-1/4-3-3. We can play two proper number 10s now (O'Hare & Bright) in the box midfield system and we have better options from the bench if we play 2 strikers.
