Perhaps we are going back to the good old days when new signings were announced as they stepped onto the pitch

They are now yes but there was still a link in the press so to me they were still taking a look even it weren’t serious interest

The story was from an online publication that is renowned for posting links submitted by agents. Those links are usually regarding their own players as well.

It has very little credibility.

It’s already been pointed but thanks. Still doesn’t dilute my point that he was a a top performer in our promotion season

Nah if he doesn’t sign it’ll be because he’s too old and Robins thinks the budget can be better spent elsewhere.

If we did sign him some of our fans would still moan... PUSB

Ffs why we wasting wages on Messi when we’ve got “The Maverick” - yes that’s really what some of our fans have been calling him

Don't say the maverick is bright 😆

FI SOURCES! 👀

- Swansea City have agreed a deal to sign ex-Bristol City winger Jamie Paterson on a free transfer. ✅

- The 29-year-old is a free agent after his City contract expired in June. ❗

Veysey gets like 1/20 transfers correct so i wouldn’t pay much mind to that as of yet, he was just training with Boro a week or so prior. Would be an interesting move though with the Walsh acquisition as well.

Am I the only person that’s not at all fussed that we didn’t sign Paterson, Collins or Walsh? The only one I was disappointed about missing out on was James

Didn't see many people pining for Mings over Maguire in the Euros because Mings is left footed. You pick the three best defenders, regardless of what foot they use. If one of the three is left footed - great, if not it's no big deal.

edit: that guy says exactly what I'm saying - " But I wouldn't be forcing ourselves to sign a left footer over a better right footed player because he's left footed "
Which is why we are signing Panzo

After 196 pages of mostly drivel and bickering have we as city fans got enough shite left in us to get over the line and make it 200 pages before Sundays kick off. That achievement might give the players inspiration to push on this season, .So come let's give all the bollox we can and get us over the line.
The three Bristol players may not have packed their satnav but Robins has for CCFC premotion
