When I went to Turin a couple of years ago, we just assumed you paid as you got on the tram, so asked the driver as we got on and he said 'yes yes' and waved us to the back. Soon found out we were supposed to pay in one of the corner shops on the square. But too little too late.

Reached our stop and the ex Mrs shit herself as there were police waiting, she was certain they were there to arrest us 🙄. Nothing to do with them just stopping for food at the shop next door!
Had that in Lithuania in 2007. Police bundled me into a van a small the only person who didn't have a bus ticket. I'd spent an hour trying to buy one and couldn't. Like you, I thought you could buy from the driver. Shat myself for the brief time I was in the mini-van. Fortunately, they let me off.

Didn't expect to share this moderately interesting anecdote on this thread or forum.....

came here a curious fan wanting to know more about Jake Clarke Salter left hearing about bus pass fees across europe and one bloke who’s possibly a fugitive in America

It is because he is lost in France. I heard it from Bonnie Tyler.

Wondering when it's happening myself it seems to sum up this transfer window as a whole seems to have been disjointed.
Also cashmann released from Brighton it seems this has gone against what robins was saying about 2more in is it 1 of the 2 incomings.

I wonder if they are both sorted?
I'd guess most PL clubs will finalise loans for their prospects next week to get them away ahead of their first games at the weekend
Has it been confirmed we are signing two on loan then? Or is this just a prediction?

Have you actually heard anything concrete about JCS? My source has said they haven’t heard a thing about him joining and they aren’t sure where the rumour has come from

Did your source give any alternative suggestions?

Baker will be 27 by the time his Chelsea contract expires, playing 3 minutes in a FA Cup tie against Derby in 2014, it’s concerning how stuff like that is even allowed to happen. You can’t blame the player but who keeps giving him contracts?

It’s madness the number of players allowed on loan should be limited to a dozen or so but who’s to blame club or player. Would be interesting to know what their wage is compared to a decent championship player. I remember an article a year or so back where a Chelsea player in his early twenties who had never played a senior match had bought a house for over a million quid.

Neither club or player are to blame. They are both doing what they're allowed to in the rules.

So it's the rules that are the problems, which makes it the fault of those that set the rules.

Robins was asked about him and refused to comment. Usually when it’s bollocks he just says so so I think there’s something to it.

Suppose so, and if a on that gravy train is canny with his earnings it can set them up for life at an early age.

Yes, someone like Charlie Wakefield was able to buy his dad a 30k car when he was 18, he looked limited in our 23s so was never capable of making it at Chelsea
