Last time I was there, I was drinking in the Wetherspoons opposite the Central line, Shepherds Bush station. No idea if you will get in there wearing your colours or even if the pub is still there. The Legion were 'escorted' out of the station en masse by the MET and were all forced to drink in one pub which i think was O'Neills. May have changed name since then.
Winning goal scored by Dele Adebola in front of us !

Wetherspoons is still there..its actually inside the West12 shopping centre overlooking the green. exactly where you say. Next door outside is belushies.

There arnt as many pubs as there used to be back in the day around the green. Oneils has been replaced by another gastro pub.

There S a Brewdog. And now literally just a couple of pubs on each corner of green.

As others have said best to head elsewhere.

An optimistic 1-1. They ate a good side , and are 100% in the play off race. Ilias chair and charlie austin scare me. Would bite your hand off if you offered me a point right now. Can’t go but to the 2,000 who are going : Do us proud and support the team!

Always liked going to Loftus Road, even though the results weren't always the best :O A ground where you felt you were part of the game, rather than watching it from several miles away like most modern grounds. BBC Studios around the corner if you want to do some sightseeing or celeb watching ;) Decent market down in Shepherds Bush.

QPR are a tough team, well organised as the second half on Saturday proved. Their defence isn't that impressive but midfield is solid, Austin is a good CF and Willock is starting to show his undoubted talent and will give Dabz or Dacosta a game. As much as I want to say Cov win, think it'll be a 3-1 to QPR on the day.

It hasn’t been the BBC for a long time, the television centre was converted in to 900 apartments. ITV use the tv studios there. BBC moved to Salford.
QPR was always a friendly ground but I am not too sure nowadays. Seen us take a few thrashings there, Clive Allen debut and Les Ferdinand come to mind in 5-1 defeats, Dion’s two goal debut stands out.
after Over half a century of watching games there the plastic pitch era and the White City estate next to the ground was tasty.

I’ll never forget the 2-1 win one Boxing Day with Speedie chipping David Seaman for the winner right in front of us.
Anyone remember the year?

Think we drew that one. I remember another one around Christmas when we did win 2-1 with Regis and Hiuchen scoring

Remember a terrible 4-1 defeat with Luke Steele in goal.

That was the first time back at their place since the infamous Ibiza trip wasn’t it?

And Steve Staunton told our fans to fuck off at one point.
One of the worst performances I can remember in my many years of watching Cov. Matt Mills had a nightmare as well.

Didn't we beat QPR one season where the players had to get the tube to the ground because the bus broke down or something?

I think it was the game Kevin Kyle scored a late winner.

Our car broke down on the way to that game. We had to push it down a side street a mile or so from the ground, eventually turning up at half time to watch us get beat 4-1. Then Staunton told us to fuck off.

No Steve, you fuck off.

One of those times that makes you wonder why you bother.

It seems an issue at the club’s end prevented us getting more tickets for QPR. Massive shame really. Feel bad for those who wanted to go but failed to get a ticket as a result of this

Basically seems to be down to lack of staff, not good enough. They need to rally and get people from other areas to help if they aren’t….probably also explains why the Barnsley tickets were held back etc.

Funny you mention this 1991; on the way to watch that famous end of season game when we beat Wimbledon 2-0 with an Ndlovu double (from memory, must have been around 96)...followed by the obligatory pitch invasion by thousands of Cov fans......on the way there early doors, I was pretty astonished to see Wimbledon coaching staff and some players (in full kit) board the train to get to the game. Can't really imagine that happening today in the Prem.

Knew it would be our end. Our staffing levels are poor. Seems to me like we are trying to run as a League 1 club in the Championship.

Piss take. I really wanted to go to this one. Our new arrival means its difficult for me to get to games in Cov atm so was relying on London away games to get a few done...
If anyone fancies walking up on the day and sitting in the home end just let me know. My company is tolerable for a couple of hours of football.
