Don't think so, at most it should've been a yellow, but I'll wait until I've seen the Football League Show!

Was definitely a goal though! I never thought he was offside, although dad said he was offside from the free kick! And how we weren't given that penalty I will NEVER know!!! Disgraceful

Wood wasn't offside when the ball was kicked though as he ran round the back and headed the ball backwards to McPake :)

Its funny how they didn't show are "offside goal" which wasn't offside or are penalty shout... but if the same happened to Leicester they would soon be showing it...

It was 2 feet and off the floor, so the ref didn't have a lot of choice - not seen the 'offside goal' but not heard from anyone yet who thinks it was offside.

That goal was never in a million years offside. Someone in the box may have been offside but it sure as hell wasn't Wood. The wino had his flag up before Wood had even headed the ball, he's basically flagged offside for someone who hasn't been involved in play at all and we all know the rules - your offside if you interfere with play. PRICK! And how he can't give a pen is beyond me, ridiculous. Normally the home side get a slight advantage with ref decisions but it just doesn't seem to happen at the Ricoh as we always get away team refs. To be honest I'm tired of paying all this money for these jokers to make terrible decisions every week and get away with it. If anyone says anything they get fined for bringing the game into disrepute. AB needs to be more harsh on the referee's because at the moment it's easier for them to give decisions against us whereas managers who slate refs (Sir Alex) seem to get decisions their way as the referee's fear them. AB always shrugs off bad refereeing and blames the team which sometimes is fine but yesterday was just beyond a joke, the FA should refund the home fans because that twat they sent to referee our game robbed us.

I find it shocking how refs can just get away with mistakes and go unpunished. They can give goals that don't go anywhere near the line and their punishment is to ref in a lower division for four games.

They should be sacked or banned without pay for a period.

It was a red card and we cant really complain about that, but for the rest of the game the ref was aweful and we should definaty had a pen and the goal that was disalowed.

Agreed. I'm afraid he had to go for a "two footer" but the "offside" goal should have stood. Things might balance out over the next few games though and we'll get a few decisions our way?:eek:
