Been at work all day so not even been able to follow on here as I’ve been that busy. How was the performance overall?

Pretty even first half but imo in the second half we actually looked the more established championship side

Early days but that looks good. reader rather than a poster but does anyone think that when robins left first time he made his mistakes elsewhere and has come back a better manager? he sure is doing ok considering the restrictions he is under as in £££££'s . imagine him having a larger budget, would he be better or has he found a niche in the way it is working?

I think he has developed whilst with us, and the yearly progress and development is exceptional. Can’t speak highly enough of him, it’s definitely a team effort though and the entire club seems to have recruited really well since Robins’ arrival.

To be fair the ball won’t be going through the midfield with Colin in charge and Allen probably offers more going forward

Was unsure if dropping Sheaf for Allen was a smart move, but it was brilliant. Allen made the first goal and could have scored one in the first half. Boro could have scored from a couple of chances themselves and won the game. Moore, Dabo, Fadz, Allen, Hyam were great and the team overall played great. Gyo took his goal very well. I thought he might have lost the opportunity (when 2 defenders came back to cover). Happy for Waghorn to get off the mark. The team should have a a great deal of confidence and belief. With Cardiff playing tomorrow, we should have an extra day's rest. Hope we can pick up another 3 points on Wed.

It’s games like that where I’m struggling to pick a motm. Some great performances all round. Maybe Gyokeres, just. Allen, Waghorn, Hyam and Moore deserve special mention too though. Also glad Waghorn got off the mark, he looked massively relieved when he scored!

Hoping to fly back for the Fulham game. Brilliant start and what incredible value a season ticket at the CBS is - being back home makes such a difference.
