Friday night football, reasonable ticket prices (£25), 4th in the league, four home wins in a row and what should be a decent away following. Am I mad to expect close to 20,000?
Same as Wednesday, 16.5k, would love to see more.
Yeah but sisu innitFfs…. Surely 20k Coventry people can get off their backsides and come and watch the team representing their City go top of the league. The football is class….the atmosphere amazing and There are new bars to drink in….
£25 is a good price for Championship football, no?Cheap tickets to sort that stand behind the goal will help
And….Yeah but sisu innit
Yep definite 15000 core crowd. Another test to see if those 15000 have got any friends they can persuade. Would think they may push 2000. Be nice to get over 20000 for a few15,000 of us + them (1500 ish). And that’s our lot.
We have got 30,000 glory hunters though.
People have some reasons and excuses for not comingAnd….
Apart from it being a week before payday and some people cant afford to goThere is just no reason not to go, no kids football, no shopping with the Mrs, its a friday night so most people have no work next day, would love to see the end behind the goal fuller, its quite sad if we can't get 20000 home fans in for this one!
For the football we're playing it is great value£25 is a good price for Championship football, no?
The fact people dont like the owners is no excuse, support your team we are playing well who cares that we have shit owners whilst the results are happening as long as they don’t fuck it upPeople have some reasons and excuses for not coming
Not according that that stand behind the goal tho that looks Barron mate£25 is a good price for Championship football, no?

I think that it is wishful thinking that we have fans out there who will turn up. What is certain is that those that do attend seem to be enjoying the ride, creating a Coventry experience and hopefully some will want to get onboard at some point. Our core fan base is what it is. I don’t understand people’s expectations.
How much is an uber these days?No trains after the game is a slight pain in the arse. Uber it is

Sure I've seen£15 on here, which should make a black cab competitive.
Used to cost me £8 to be Butts a couple of seasons ago.
Some people yes, but not all!, I'm sure there aren't many fans who only go to games in the first 2 weeks of the month!Apart from it being a week before payday and some people cant afford to go
Usually £5+ less than a taxi in my experience, but around the stadium it’s a faff getting them somewhere vaguely accessible
Tried to get an Uber after a Liam Gallagher concert outside the NIA. Ended up with theee cancellation charges as I couldn’t find the drivers or hear them when they rang. Ended up paying a massive premium for a black cab.
Id recommend taking a 10 minute walk down the canal and ordering it from Longford Road if you’re not in a rush.
