The ball over the top has done us too much today I’d agree with that. But we’ve had to keep playing out from the back cos nothing is sticking up top.

Yet against Peterborough we were confidently trying cross field switches, balls over the top for Gyo to chase etc. That seems to have been totally forgotten tonight. Perhaps that nightmare penalty right at the start did more psychological damage than I'm recognising

This is where we need that big target man we were asking for in the summer. Walker and Godden won’t change a game like this.

The defence was the problem today. 3-0 after 30 mins you think a target man would have change the game

Every team is going to lose games. Tonight was virtually inevitable at some point as there is always at least one crap performance. This was worse than crap though!
Biggest concern for me is that the team begin to develop a mental block about away games. It’s not the next game I’m that’s the most important for me. It’s the Preston & Blackburn away games. Need to win one of them…..

Very bad day at the office but it’s all about the next game now. Dabo, Rose, Godden/Walker to come in Saturday.

We needed a formation change after 10 mins. Robins knew it as sheaf was warming up but didn't come in until half time

Mate , it's literally just one of them games .. me just have to move on
I ain’t watched it mate, I’ve followed on here. I’m enjoying a few San Miguel’s in Spain. Took my mum on holiday, been a shit few years for the family so there are more important things than getting battered at football.

I think to be honest *everything* was a problem, not too much point picking that one apart looking for particular weaknesses. That could easily have been 8-0, a one-off… hopefully 👍

So there isn't much need to single out someone who has been subbed in to a lost cause

I agree with the sentiment, but not in this case.

Sheaf was the topic of conversation at the point I posted, so in context it wasn’t singling a player out. I was adding the viewpoint of someone who actually rates him, and agreeing he was poor.

That was awful. The players will know it. Unfortunately it happens to even the best teams. Need a strong reaction Saturday even if it's performance wise rather than result.

Just didn’t see that coming, couldn’t of imagined it after what I’ve seen so far this season. A little bit shell shocked

Defence and midfield - just not at the races.

Time to park it and move on.
